My custom SE DVD covers

    I posted these a long time ago, and the site they were hosted at went down. Just prior to the SE official art coming out, I updated my old designs. And now I'm making brand new ones that aren't too different from the current SE DVDs. Of these latest ones, I've only done B89 (so far). And in case you're wondering, I did nearly all of the stuff for each of these by hand. (Not drawn myself, but rather, not taking huge chunks out of the offical art and pasting them on my art. (Except on the newest ones, I couldn't make the copyright text or any of that small enough myself.) The special features listed on the old versions is the old rumored features from way back when. I never made more than one for B&R, however, because the first version worked fine as a joke.

    They're pretty cool man nice job. I always thought this would make an awesome DVD cover myself.

    But I see you got a theme going with each movie's logo. It's a better approach than the one WB took by sticking with the US theatrical posters.

    Great work, man. If I had the Region 1 DVDs, I would use your covers. Thankfully...I live in the UK, where we get the super-cool covers. :up:

    awesome!. This latest covers are great. Please make it for the complete anthology including Batman & Robin (and please do not put those negative reviews and nipples pictures on the covers) I want them for print.

    Great job DocLathropBrown! Your third versions of B89 and BR have already become a favourite. For BF, if you may, you could put the far away shot of Batman-in-sonar-suit staring at his new partner in the Batcavel, Robin, with Alfred standing as well, to the top of the back cover. Please don't put the one where Batman and Robin are running towards the camera. Nobody would like that, I think.

    Otherwise, looking forward to your next work!!

    That is a pretty cool poster for BR, it's the international one that was used mainly in other world markets like France, Austrailia and Japan. A shame the US doesn't have the same kind of concept for poster art.

    I did do a couple custom BR covers for the original DVD release, one of them using that design:

    No lie, if that was the Batman Returns SE dvd cover, it would probably be the greatest. I love that poster, i wish i could find it.

    Okay, sorry for the long absence. B&R's new cover will be done and up before the end of the week. Here's Batman Forever, version three....

    As you can see, for the uppermost picture on the backs next to the barcodes, I trying to keep the Bat-Signal theme constant. However, due to B&R not really having any scenes with the signal, it may be the Robin signal that I use.

    And by the way, these are the actual DVD barcodes and reference numbers, taken off the real DVD promo art, so these are as authentic as can be.

    AMAZING!!, VERY GOOD!!, Better than the region 1 or region 2 covers, the wait worth it, please make a cover for MASK OF THE PHANTASM.

    If the new dvd covers had the symbols alone for each movie i would buy each dvd sepereatly but im sticking with the whole box thing for now

    They're all great but, I like the first three best just 'cause I can't stand the fourth abomination of a movie. Would've been nice if they were all the logos for the SE dvds, I'm happy with what I got but still would've been nice to have the Forever "?" Bat logo on the dvd cover, I love that one. Oh, well.

    the other regions get covers like that, but region 1 dosent :down

    although im fine with the batman 89 cover for region 1, seeing as it awsome
