Hate to say this about something Shatner is in, but this looks like utter garbage. Similar to crap like Big Bang Theory and Everybody Loves Raymond, all of the lines seem rehearsed and unnatural. Not to mention, unfunny.

And the the title... What's the point?

I give it a season at most.

& you made a thread about something you utterly hate....

I still want to hear what other people think.

Everybody Loves Raymond was alright, too bad the main character (Ray) was the downside to the show. The rest of the cast made it watchable, especially Peter Boyle. If there was a box set with just his scenes and everything else trimmed off, I would buy it in a heart beat

Ray was the worst character in sitcom history who made the up most amateur mistakes with his wife, was completely clueless and lacked any type of common sense whatsoever. Patricia Heaton wasn't any better either, the only purpose she served was "eye candy" as her character was a complete ***** down to the letter, but was beautiful and looked delicious.

now as far as THIS particular show goes, it's Shatner, right there, enough said. Not worth watching. Guy has never done anything worth a damn in my opinion (not a Star Trek fan) so I'm just not interested in even wasting my time with the trailer.

Shatner = Automatic Fail

The men will be at your home shortly, Mr. Boney Dubz. :cmad:

I just don't see the appeal in the guy, he's a boring talentless hack. His commercials piss me off and whenever I see him in a movie (like earlier today at the gym) all I see is a joke on the screen and nothing more

Don't care at all for Shatner

I didn't realize there was so much shate.

You should see the real Shatner magic in old western shows.

Oh I understand. It's okay, there are many people out there like you. What do you think of Adam West by the way?

I'm a fan of his Batman and he's hillarious on Family Guy but to be honest, I'm not too familiar with his work outside of that

He did a lot of westerns and he was Batman on a lot of the old animated shows.

yea, him and Burt Ward did the voice overs for "The New Adventures of Batman"...HORRIBLE SHOW, just absolute trash. Bat-mite and his "I was just trying to help" line at the end of nearly every episode freaking ruined it for me. He was annoying and always getting in the way

all of those old cartoons from the 40's-70's were garbage. Superfriends, New Adv. of Batman, New Adv. of Superman. I had them all on DVD and sold them to Disc Replay

It's on CBS, so the chances of it becoming a massive hit are pretty good. It doesn't matter how bad the plot is for a show, as long as it's on CBS and watched by 15 million people weekly (i.e. Rules of Engagement) it will be a massive hit.

I mean seriously, CBS could show the Good Wife eating hot dogs and it would still be watched by 15 million people on a weekly basis, making it the number one show for the week.

It's based on a twitter page, believe it or not. Quite a funny site, I would suggest googling it.

For the record, I think Shatner seems like kind of a jerk from what I've seen of him.
