My Dinner With GoldenAgeHero

All I know is that he pulled another Angry Internet Guy routine after the usual mockery and Drak closed it and asked ShadowBoxing to start a new thread to continue the thread's original purpose. I picked that much up from the new thread.

Of course, it's been deleted. I really feel like I missed out here. :csad:

Damn, I missed out as well. :csad:

It was a pretty good thread  I was there for the most of it.

There needs to be an PM alert for this type of thing.

I have a PowerMac G5 with dual 2gHZ PowerPC processors in it under my desk (talk about huge!) that I use as my main system and for audio production. I also have a PowerBook that I use when I travel. My wife has a new MacBook and it's a sweet little machine. I'll probably upgrade to a new Mac Pro to replace the PowerMac at some point next year, but I'm still waiting on some certain softwares to be ported over to the Intel processor (mostly audio production software and synths). If I was doing just web browsing and crap on it, I'd go with an iMac or even to one of the laptops.

That's pretty much what I do except I do like to do some RPG's on it like RuneScape and WoW.
I'm pretty hyped 'bout the iPhone.
The Only thing that would keep me from gettng a mac is I'm not as comfortable with it as I am with a windows. Could you recommend some books?

Firstly, well done Erz. :yay:

Secondly, how did the JAL and GAH ones get to stay open and the GR87 didn't? :jealous:

Thirdly, is probably not really a word.

iPhone is just a rumor at this point. There's even speculation that Apple put it out there as part of a disinformation campaign to mess with people so they didn't really pick up on what's REALLY coming out. One thing about Apple, I never believe the rumors until I actually see it for myself.

Bob Leviticus (Dr. Bob) writes some great intro to Mac OS X books, so you could check out some of his stuff on Amazon. It's really not that hard to figure out, to be honest. Once you learn the basics it starts to make a whole hell of a lot of since, actually. And with the new Intel based Macs, you can even run Windows either in a dual-boot or using virtualization software like Parallels. My wife uses Parallels for her work and it runs Win XP inside of OS X faster than my dedicated XP box from work. Seriously. And get a two-button scroll wheel mouse if you get a Mac. Most Windows users who are transitioning over find it much easier. I use one myself, actually. And Runescape will be a hell of a lot easier with the two-button mouse, anyway.

Sounds good, thanks.

Sucks that the iPhone could be a lie, I head 'bout it on G4.

And now for Erz's final thought:

I guess I was expecting a lil more out of my questions, but I don't blame myself because my questions are stellar and I'm pretty f'ing wonderful, but it's the interviewee who must captivate the audience with his answers

His answers didn't tell at least me, anything I haven't known already except for the King of Queens which I find kind of well weird, if not what the f' is wrong with him.

I was hoping for hoping for the definitive answer on the "virginity" question. I honestly don't think it is, like someone else said no one would make a thread about laying down a woman to the tune of Phil Collins unless he did get it at least once.

I like to thank GAH for sitting down with me and doing this interview and to me he will always be known as Dr. Fear, King of Virgins and Master of the Relationship Threads. :csad:

How in the blue hell did I miss the Hooters Pimp interview? :csad:

edit: Apparently, I missed another JAL meltdown in the 'What's The Worst Thing That Could Happen To The Hype' thread. I need a beer. :down
You're not the only one. I seem to miss all the good stuff that happens in Community. I feel so... left out.

Well the Hooters pimp interview is in the tivo thread, the JAL blow-up though, lost forever. :csad:

Mesmerizing read. By mesmerizing, I mean boring.

Thank you, sir. Found the Hooters Pimp interview. He's clueless as ever.

Still, a pity about the JAL loss. I could use my imagination, but you really can't capture the full magnitude of the lunacy unless you experience it first hand. :csad:
