They did a biopsy today to determine what kind, the results come in within 48 hours. She's 76, had a good life, and I'm pretty sure if she passes she'll end up in a great place :) but I'm not sure if I'm ready for her to go yet.:(

So please keep me and my family in your thoughts/prayers.:O

Of course you will be in my thoughts and prayers, keep us updated

Sorry to hear that Mee :( hopefully the results show that it's a controllable cancer.

Thats too bad. One of my friends recentley died in a devestating bear attack so I know how you feel. :(

I watched both my parents die from cancer and it's taught me one thing -- your family is all you have of any real value in this world. I suggest you spend as much time with your grandmother as you possibly can, even if this is something that she fights off easily. Once she is gone, she is gone. Make sure you tell her every day that you love her so she really knows it. The best gift you can give her right now is your time. :)

In retrospect, any birthday that doesn't involve cancer would be a good one.
Actually, today is my aunt's (grandma's daughter) birthday, what a present.:(

Yeah. Anyway, I don't know if I can ride the fine line between sympathetic and offensive any more, so, yeah.

That's what I've been thinking. I don't want to risk not spending time with her and she does pass.

I'll pray tonight for your Grandma Mee. Oh and happy birthday to Darren Daring.

I'm sorry Mee. You said she's 76. At least she had a great life. Will she take treatment or will she just, you know, lets the inevetable happen?

I'll keep you and your family in my thoughts.

Thanks for all the support guys, much appreciated.

My friend lived for 2 days after being attacked by the bear so I tried to spend as much time with her in the hospital as I could. So talk to your granny as much as you can before she's gone.:( This thread is going to make me cry.

Happy b-day DD.. sorry to hear about your grandma,,, I lost an uncle, grandma & aunt to cancer. It sucks. I hate cancer!

Don't really know yet. I think she's waiting for the test results to decide.

Thank Whatever that both of mine were dead before I was born and my grandfathers were dead before my brain developed enough to store memories.

The thought of me being by an old person's side.. with cancer.. about to die. Sickens me.

Happy Birthday Darren.

I think your Grandma should get traetment not just wait for death. She should fight Cancer and kick Cancer's ass! Grandma POWA!
