My Infiniteens are coming!

I can´t believe I forgot to post this here, Moonstone is launching my mini-series this month, THE iNFINITEENS!

My book is going to be published!

A quick overview:
Eighteen years ago, Mankind finally broke the Vitori-Shears barrier, opening a gate to the Rift.
What they found there would change everything forever, as our world was flooded by alien superparticles that lit the skies like a Nova.
When the light faded, MILLIONS .across the globe had been touched by this Event and in the following years, they would show the world the powers it gave them.
Today.
Mankind stands at the very brink of extintion as nothing seems to be able to stop the advance of the mindless Event Freaks, powerful humans poisoned by these superparticles.
And as the flames threaten to engulf the globe, hope is reborn anew in the tiny coastal village of Cape Ruseur, New England, where four childhood friends unite to turn the tide of destruction and fight for Life and Justice.
INFINITEENS is a superhero saga about the end of the world, a touching tale about human hearts and how the best in us can emerge in our darkest hour.
For 8 chapters you´re invited to join Nadia, Luther, Julian and Beverly in a heroic struggle to save their tiny community from the apocalypse.

Yeah, I´ve written, pencilled, inked and colored the whole project (it´s an 8-part series).
It was fun playing all the instruments, but you do end up feeling quite dead

I think I remember the solicits for this from about a year ago, and then it never came out, and nobody seemed to know what I was talking about. It's cool to know you've got your own book, man. Why didn't it get put out earlier?

Congratulations. Story sounds good, art looks great, and the coloring is phenomenal. Unfortunately, I've never seen any Moonstone books on the shelves (perhaps I've just never looked), so I dunno if this will be available anywhere near me. Any way I can custom order, if only to support it?

Thanks, you are 100% right, Infiniteens was scheduled to be released by FC9 Publishing about a year ago, but the publisher went under.
It´s always a sad day when an independent publisher bites the bullet but for me it was particularly bad because it hit both my Infiniteens and the ongoing series I was drawing for them at the time called Genie.
Fortunatelly, Moonstone Books decided to pick the book up and - Voilá!

I talked with Moonstone´s head honcho, Joe Gentile and he says you can order the book directly from the Moonstone online store.

However, you can only order the book after it has been launched (which will happen in 4 weeks), so if you go there you may not find it listed yet.

Newsarama just ran an INTERVIEW with me about the book, so you can check for some inside info on who are these kids and what the storie´s about.

Okay, books finally came today. (f**kin UPS)

My thoughts? Pretty good. Art was amazing. Story was pretty good as well. It definitely piqued my interest, so I'll be sticking around for awhile. I see a lot of influences on this story. I mean it's kinda like the X-Men in a way, and also like Rising Stars as well. But it's kinda got it's own feel to it. I mean, 23 million people get super powers, and the world goes to hell in a hand basket as a result. Pretty realistic. My favorite character so far is Bev at the moment. Kinda stuck up, but, she's hot. And that goes a long way in my book. (I'm shallow, sue me.) All in all I'd give this first ish a 4 out of 5.

I´m very fond of Bev myself but sometimes I feel like she´s got a harsh job as the series´designated babe. Poor girl shows more skin than Nadia, Athena and Ms. Meankiss combined
Bev does start a bit meanie but she cleans up her act somewhat in later issues

The series has a light tone due to the interaction between the characters but you´ll notice that as the story progresses, the stakes will get higher and higher.
