The Dark Knight My "out of left field" suggestion for Maroni...

I found Hannibal entertaining but not as good as The Silence Of The Lambs. The gore was too over the top and the physchological gravitas that made the first film so great was lost.

Moore was horrible as Clarice, too.

Yes she was. One of the things that made Lambs great was the chemistry between Hopkins and Foster. Moore and Hopkins had zero.

If Hollywood was smart they would find a great script for Hopkins and Foster to star in other that a Lambs sequel.

Yeah... Even though Red Dragon is better than Hannibal, but'll never reach The Silence of the Lambs... but let's go back IT.

If they really wanted to do a big Lambs sequel then bring back William L. Petersen from Manhunter and team him with Jody Foster as they are forced together by Lecter into a cat and mouse chase. Also have it directed by Michael Mann.

That would rule.

Joe Mantegna is an excellent choice... I would prefer these smaller names instead of putting more money on Liotta... he just won't ever get back to that level where he was back in the day...

By the way what was the deal with Hannibal and Jody Foster... was the money not enough??? Or did she just not want to do it... I mean her career hasn't exactly been the same from that point on... why the hell didn't she come back...

I have no idea. Maybe she didn't like the script. But didn't she win an Oscar for that role?

Ya she won an Oscar.... oh well... put it in the past I guess...

Ok back on track.

What about Frank Vincent for the role? From Goodfellas.

I don't like his Sopranos... I never saw him as a leader... Montegna or the mobster from analyse this are my top two... Liotta prolly three if available...

Amen. That's exactly how i feel about it. Red Dragon was a step up, because it followed the same formula as Silence of the Lambs, but still couldn't get close to the original.

Wouldn't a Michael Meyers Avatar be perfect for you?

Why, yes, it would. I'll wait until I can get a bigger, better one, though.

Yeah. I'm a little...unsure of what to expect. But we'll see. It sounds like it'll be radically different from the original. So we'll see how it turns out.

That is what makes it so exciting. Coming from Rob Zombie, it will probably be radical but it puts the series back into the spotlight.

The only question is can it stay.
