My THE INCREDIBLE HULK

Its one of the hypes most closely guarded secrets-my favorite comic hero is....THE HULK.

SO-i am going to do a little step-by-step of exactly how I would do the Incredible Hulk film to ensure that

1. the fans love it and its a great movie
2.its a financial success.

today I'll say who I will cast/crew, the budget, and when it's release date should be, with things like trailers and marketing until I release a full plot break down.

TITLE: The Incredible Hulk

Director: Andrew Adamson
Reasons-All of his movies have been enormous hits. Plus, as he recently showed with Narnia, he can do special effects and epic drama

Budget-155 million$

Cast:
Bruce Banner- Heath Ledger
Reasons-This is an origin film so I went young, and I think Ledgers perfect. Hes famous, ands a great actor plus can channel the rage within type of acting as well have the good looks a hollywood leading man needs.

Betty Ross- Natalie Portman
Reasons- again, a very talented young actress who looks the part and the age and has the talent. That and she looks like shed have good chemistry with Ledger, and I think shed be great.

Thunderbolt Ross- Bruce Willis
Reasons-imo, hes just perfect for the role, plus as the main "bads guy" he requires lots of star power.

Miles Mason- Billy Zane (I made him up-vital character)
reasons-see "titanic"


Release Date-12/12/08
Reasons-The plots pretty much done, and this is a huge character driven epic loaded with enormous action pices. Yes that means I would think itd recieve some awards attention. PLUS coming off the hated "HULK" this movie would require legs to be a hit, and thats the holiday seasons specialty.

The Greco project is a group of young scientists who are researching and developing human tissue advancement through the use of gamma, and itstop brightest students are Bruce Banner and Betty Ross. A business developer Miles Mason (Billy Zane) sees this as a potential gold mine with pharmacueticals, thus he arranges to finance a trip with Ross and Banner, a security team, and others down to the Amazon for proper testing on primates in their natural habitat. of course once there, the accident happens. After battling other gamma-effected amazon animals, bruce is transported back to the u.s for closer observation under Thunderbolt Ross. Naturally, he gets pissed and aescapes-que huge desert chase. He's recaptured and druged up by Mason, who brings him to San Francisco to show off to potential investors. Of course, they cannot contian the Hulk and he escapes into San Fran at night.

Your Cast & your plot sucks. I'd rather have Peter Jackson for The Lord of the Rings and King-Kong. Bruce Willis as G. Thunderbolt is the only thing that's not bad.

There is no way anybody is going to spend 155 million dollars on a Hulk movie, considering it's lacklustre performance the first time and the fact that Superman wasn't a box office buster.

-cut to the ship roaring through the waves-we see bruce, betty, mason, and others standing on a beach, a massive jungle ahead of them.
-we see them conducting lab tests in the jungle in their tents-
-they cruise around in jeeps, **** outta jurassic park.
-bruce is testing, when suddenly the geurilla being tested flips, knocks him over-the gama bottle opens-htis air-BOOM!
-BETTY watches on a tv monitor inside-
-bruce is in bed-we meet thunderbolt ross (bruce willis)-he says" we dunno what happened; half the animals within 20 miles are now contaminated"
-its night time, and bruce is asleep-he stirs, hes having a bad dream. Suddenly his SHIRT RIPS-
-We see his face-its GREEN
-A loud roar-
-ON SCREEN TEXT: FROM THE DIRECTOR OF NARNIA
-A group stands infront of a huge open hole in the wall-betty runs in "wheres bruce"?
-ross barks intohis phone "use all means-finds him!"
-shots of helicopters, jeeps-everythign being taken out into the jungle-
-betty says "im going after him"-cut to her screaming-a huge, over grown, gama exposed CRODCDILE-15 feet tall-stares her down-
-she screams-ross hears it-he and his men begin to run-the croc closes in-she screams, crouches down when theres a defeaning roar-
-THE HULK flys down-stomping on the crocodile-
-ON SCREEN TEXT: THIS CHRISTMAS
-Ross's eyes shoot down at the water
-were on an object back skimming the water-a huge animal races towards a small military boat on the amazon river
-a man fire shis weapon in the jungle
-Hulk sprints in the desert
-Betty runs in the jungle
-Hulk-in the streets of san fran at night-throws a cab at a helicopter
-soldiers run from a massive gama exposed 25 foot tall grisley bear
-hulk leaps past the screen in san fran as explosions erupt behind him
-betty turns her head
-ON SCREEN TEXT: OUR HERO WILL ARRIVE
-Hulk smashes through a wall
-hulk kicks a tank-grabs another-throws it at a 3rd one
-Hulk grabs the 15 foot tall croc by the tail and spins it, throwing it into another one
-a huge grisley bear overturnsthe miliatry boat
-bruce and betty kiss
-hulk sprints through a traffic jam
-betty falls off the edge of the golden gate bridge
-hulk tanks out of a building wall and into a crowded san fran street
-bruce runs down a street
-explosions in the desert

-Bruce looks at the screen
-Betty stares up at the hulk
-hulks feet smash onto the pavement
-solders fire rockets in the desert

-Hulks raging-he kicks a cruiser, grabs alamp post, and bats a helicopter away like a home run

-hulk looks at the camera-pissed
-hulk-atop the golden bridge-roars and flexs-grabs a helicopter and throws it into the screen-

-cop cars roar down the street-tanks-everything flood san frans streets-Hulk raises his fists and SLAM THEM into the ground-the cars flip into the air-rock and roll over-some crashing into builings-
-Hulk turns to the camera and flexes and roars

so, are the pharmaceuticals gamma-irradiated? the animals? you need to explain his origin more as well as the inclusion of gamma rays and how the pharmaceutical being exposed to air would alter Banner's DNA. also, I'm assuming the tests are being performed on gorillas and not mercenary jungle fighters.

...I find this completely droll. Essentially, you took the nanomeds out of the formula and rehashed the original film. If Luthor was considered a boring villain in SR because of a very silly plot development people will scoff at the Talbot template Miles Mason. I also have to say that it is even more isolated than the original film, from which your film seems to be a massive derivitive of. Creating a 'King Kong' effect of imprisonment is not what any movie needs further than one event. Whereas the Hulk feature film got this right you seem to have applied this twice in rather unappetizing ways.

This is a completely uninteresting origin. On a scale of ingenuity the original film- nigh, the television series- has a one-up.

This is included, since the gamma-irradiated dogs of the first film did so well in hindsight...?

Why would you release a feature film such as this during the holiday season? It would profit far more from a summer release.

That's Superman, not the Hulk. A better intro banner for this supposed trailer would work wonders.

Still don't understand the logic behind the 'incredible' addition. I don't need to know Spider-Man is 'amazing'. The feature film is proof enough, and Raimi knows this. Thus the disclusion of such an addition in the title.

My final score would be, at best, a 5 out of 10 for effort. This basically took the first film and added the Amazonian element in it along with the aforementioned plot flaws, with emphasis on action and the Hulk smashing random insignificant things. I just don't see this pitch being a "financial success" in any manner.

Different. I'll give you that, but with some rewrites of the script it could of worked for a sequel to Ang Lee's Hulk. I'm using the same cast used in Hulk.

5 years have passed since Banner left the US and became the Hulk. He has been traveling mostly and lately has been searching for a cure. He has kept away from cities so as to not meet people who would make him angry and has succeeded in controling his anger and not turning into the HUlk.

He heard of the Greco project in the Amazon, and that the scientists were researching and developing human tissue advancement through the use of gamma. A business developer Miles Mason (Billy Zane) sees this as a potential gold mine with pharmacueticals, thus he finances the scientists, a security team led by Bruce Willis, and others down to the Amazon for proper testing on primates in their natural habitat. So Banner (Eric Bana) decides that he could do some secret research himself, if he can join the project.

Sheesh, there's no need for another origin stories because that takes away screen time. $ 125 million budget, 2 hours of screen time tops, lesser known but charismatic actors.

Move forward with Abomination and the action. I don't mean mindless action, but a cohesive sequence.

Why do you not have Doc Samson involved?

What was the name of the place where banner worked when he got hit with radiation?
Name Hulk's top 5 villians.


The Hulk movie sucked. It needs a reboot in a big way. There are so many things that could be done and elements that could be included.
Science, Espionage (see Gremlin and Emil Bronsky), set up for other villians (Leader was a janitor he got irradiated), Domestic violence which is in the Hulk mythoes, murder, a shy and reserved, skinny, frail anti-hero Banner who somehow is appealing to Betty Ross who is cute. Hulk-Busters, search for a cure, leading up to the second movie. Banner would be about 28-30 when he becomes Hulk. If he has a PhD, he studied for about 8-10 from his 18th b-day. Gets a job working on the bomb. Presto.

Read comics before issue 300 and then add soemthing. Go read a repint of the first 20 or so issues. Ang Lee ruined Hulk. A fantastic character.

Most of that happened in the first Hulk - just replace Mason with Talbot and gamma-affected amazon animals with Hulk-dogs and its essentially the same movie.
