My Tumbler progress

Thats pretty kick a$$ man! You working off of production blueprints, or are you "winging it"? What did you fabricate the panels out of? Also, did you do the steering the same way, or did you try to make it more traditional?

oh hey, Bob! i check out your website all the time. how come there haven't been many updates?

ok... seems badass. Do you work in special effects or something? or did you just buy one from the extras they had left over?

its not a tumbler unless u got fire shooting out the back lol

so are you going to be able to actually drive it down the road or what? more pictures please!! :brucebat:

Very good work youngbat. Truly impressive. I wonder, is it legally possible for you to get that baby registered etc so you can drive it to work etc?. I know a few people around my part of the world and they always get a lot of hazzle with their stuff. A guy I talk to every now and then built the B89 Batmobile and he always has to ask Cops for permission when he drives it to conventions and shows etc.

Whoa, so idiotic question: does this tumbler have the rocket-boost?

And do you drive this thing out in the open? Doesn't look like something you can drive legally. If you did you'd get a lot of awesome looks.

if you cant legally drive in on the road, then you cud just fly on rooftops!

Do your neighbors ever ask if they can drive and do you respond in a gruff voice "Can you drive stick?" while holding up the keys?

Have you ever driven it in costume?

Finally, what are the specs? What kind of engine do you have in there and how fast can you go?

Oh my God. That thing is amazing man. Even if your working off of blueprints from the movie it's still amazing you had the time and patience to build such a beast, let alone the money. I truly congradulate you for being the envy of every Tumbler Enthusiast out there, including me. I would take a drivable Tumbler ANYDAY over a Ferrari. I demand more pics!!!!

LOL. What's the MPG on that thing!?!?

Pretty awesome man. What kind of engine does it have? And can we see the interior?

Wow...all I have to say is that it is truly amazing. What are the panels made of?

I can just see a couple gangs doing a deal in a parking lot, and all of a sudden you coming through the wall driving that. I bet they'd break and run.

How fast can that go? Is there somewhere you can legally drive it?

AMAZING ! are you even allowed to drive it? lol

I LOVE YOU!!! lol.

I'm so jelous, it's not even funny.

I built this from photo references off the internet. which alot were from here. Which is why I say thanks.

:oldrazz:

So this kinda proves Bruce Wayne could've actually built the Batmobile himself

Watch the building of The Tumbler on the extras on Batman Begins and you will see that anybody with mechanical know-how could do it.

And it was Lucius Fox.
