I honestly don't have that much time for myspace. When I joined I simply added my family, girlfriend and current friends. Slowly, however, I've been searching through the database for people I knew back in college, high school, middle school, and elementary. It's AMAZING how you can find all these people you've lost contact with. People can complain all they want about myspace but atleast its a great tool to find old friends. But, anyway, with college and high school everything was pretty smooth. But, as I start requesting and messaging people from middle and elementary a lot of them don't remember me. That's kinda sad. I certainly remember them but they don't remember me. :csad:

Has anyone had similar experience?

The problem is your focusing on the things in life that don't really matter.

j/k.

Okay. It was a simple observation.

So, um, no one had a similar experience? I'm not *****ing or anything. Just something I thought was interesting.

I reconnected with an Elementary school chum. He remembers me, it was only like 6 years ago.

Well, yeah, 6 years is not a long time. I went to Elementary school back in the `80s. lol. So, yeah, I can imagine how some people don't remember me.

Yeah, I had a experience like that on Myspace. The person doesn't remember me. But I know him. It is kinda sad, but I really don't care.

Well I was one of the few black people in my schools from 6th grade on so just about everybody remembers me

I've located lots of old classmates, but I haven't bothered messaging or friend inviting any of them, as I doubt they'd care much to get back in contact. "Oh, hey, you were in my 4th grade science class. Whoop-dee-friggin-doo"

I have the opposite experience. People remember me and I'm all..."Um, hi?"

LOL. Yeah, I did that to two people.

I've gotten in touch with people I thought I would never see again, because I've moved house so much and friends have moved to America etc. But I've never had someone who didn't remember me. Had I few I couldn't remember, I just pretended like I did.

also, kudos on the spaced avvy and custom title hippy

Okay, I soooooo don't want to make a MySpace page, since I hate MySpace, you know, but for some reason I've been planning out what I'd make it like in my head.

I guess the world will never see it. Rest assured...

It would've been mind blowing.

I have too many people from my HS registered to myspace... I remember a few of them... but not to the point where I'd contact them...

I agree, Myspace is a great website!

I've browsed through the people I went to high school with, I haven't ventured to middle school or elementary school. Heh.

Christ, It was like the late 80's early 90's when I was in elementary school.

And considering about 90 percent of the people I went to elementary school with ended up in the same high school as me would make it rather pointless. :o

But, yeah, MySpace is pretty cool especially if you're in a local band and you're looking to get some fans outside of your city and get better known. It does become a useful tool. Plus it's crazy the amount of people that you'll find and not realize are on there. The worst are ex-girlfriends, boo! :csad:

You have to add yourself to the school that you went to and list the years that you attended in your profile editing. If you already did that and know people are on there then it's possible that they messed up.

Dude, just call it what it is. Mystalk.

Myspace is total crap. End of story.

We live in a strange world where the first thing you do after a breakup is take your former significant other out of your top 8. :csad:
