Its all in the writing. There is always a good story to tell or incorporate it into an existing story.Mysterio would be vastly different on the big screen even if its just a cameo.

I would love to see this as an opening scene:

In a bank. Lots of smoke is coming out through the door. People starts screaming and then Mysterio enters the building and say something like : "Be calm everybody, you are being robbed by MYSTERIO!"
Then you see a red fist and Mysterio gets a punch in the face and faints.
Spider-man:"Tss, pathetic"

Next scene....

i can't wait until everyone realize that Mysterio is not in this movie. the only possibility is that Campell could have a small cameo as someone named Quentin Beck.

I agree... but it has got to be something... anyone would be foolish to think it was the symbiate or Black SPidey...

THE BRUCE CAMPBELL/MYSTERIO CAMEO WAS WRITTEN INTO THE Q&A BY A USER ON THESE BOARDS AS A JOKE AND IT WAS SENT TO AINTITCOOLNEWS. THE SAME GOES FOR AUNT MAY DYING. THESE TWO RUMORS NEVER APPEARED IN THE ORIGINAL Q&A BY LAIKAMI.

I love the idea. I just recieved my TAS's and they are amazing. The illusions Quentin Beck can produce. He would be such a bomb character. I'm all for it.

I dont know if its just me, but doesnt Bruce Campbell do the voice for "learning the moves" in the spiderman the movie games, cause I swear it has to be his voice in the SM2 game.

I have a feeling that all this Mysterio buzz stems from the guy who altered the original Q&A and posted it on AICN. Who was it....Goldgoblin? He added a couple things that were completely false "just for the hell of it."

This did two things:

*made people think the entire Q&A was a fraud (even though it was legit)

and

*started this uproar of crazy rumors and speculation

I'm about 95% sure Mysterio is NOT in this movie.
