hmmm, it does sound a little hokey, but then again I would have said the same thing about the bad rendition of the cartoon theme, and the soon to be infamous "spidey badass strut."

Why does it have to be a Spidey movie being made anyway? Why can't it be a DC comics charcter movie being shot within the marvel character universe? after all DC comic charcters are fictional to marvel characterts, and vice versa. I know they want Quetin Beck in there but damn, he can be an effects guy on any movie set...

You know what would be pretty damn cool, if the fake Spidey from the movie within the movie wore the Scarlet Spider costume. Because the clone saga will not likely ever make it to the big screen, This would be a way to see the costume at least.

They wouldn't be showing a completed movie like in Goldmember, they would be showing actors in the NY streets shooting, I really don't think people are that stupid to be confused about that. And the Goldmember movie within the movie was the only funny thing in the whole film.
