**, despite the misspelling of Commodores. ;) Nobody's perfect all the time, right?

EDIT: Bonus point if you can tell me how the band got their name (a little bit of trivia I'm not sure how I came across).
Thanks... sorry about that... I knew it looked wrong, but I also figured that Red would be breathing down my neck on that one, so I didn't take the time to change it more than once.

As to the bonus... Was Richie's father a captain of a ship or something? :D

Actually when it comes to the Commodores, I wouldn't be the one breathing down your neck. I'm a tad more familiar with 80's groups.

Can we get another verse for song 3?

whoops - you're right!!

I kinda lost track there.

To get 3 songs with the same theme I had to use the name of the Artist/Band for one of them.

1. She's not a girl who misses much
do do do do do do, oh yeah
She's well acquainted with the touch of the velvet hand like a lizard on a window pane.
The man in the crowd with the multi-colored mirrors on his hobnail boots.
Lying with his eyes while his hands are busy working overtime.

2. ...
Her whole world's come undone
From lookin' straight at the sun
What did her daddy do
What did he put you through

3. She's got a smile that it seems to me
Reminds me of childhood memories
Where everything
Was as fresh as the bright blue sky
Now and then when I see her face
She takes me away to that
special place
And if I stared too long
I'd probably break down and cry

Theme is Guns

Between the song titles and the name of the artist/group you should be able to guess the theme.

Lying with his eyes while his hands are busy
Working overtime
A soap impression of his wife which he ate
And donated to the Nation Trust.

Gosh... I'm thinking Manfred Man... That can't be right...

This band was quite popular between 1962-1970. All of it's members tried to do their own albums after they broke up.

You're soooo far off base you need a map to find the baseball park!!!

:D This band is often credited with starting the British Invasion.
