Sorry about the obscurity of the songs--I realized after I got a reply that I'd gone with the wrong list. Next time will be a little easier(note just a little ). Jeesh, I'm a stinker!

Basically someone picks three songs (of a same theme) and posts a verse from each song. Then we try to guess the song title, group and theme.

If after awhile noone can guess the songs you post a second verse.

Then if we still can't guess it you go hangman style (above)

And after like two or three days when everyone quits you just reveal it.

You get 1 point per song title guessed, one point per band guessed, one point per theme guessed and an animated gif for a clean sweep

If you read back a page you can get the lyrics for the current game. You can hop in at anytime. Webmistress currently controls the board. With the theme and one song being guessed. She has already gone into Hangman mode.

Oh I forgot to mention that if people can't guess during Hangman you slowly enter in letters for them like one every couple hours

I usually use the Rhino Records site search function to search for song titles that fit my theme. Then I try looking at the "Top Hits" albums, to try to make sure the songs I pick were a hit at some point or another.

Ok. Here's a slight variation on the normal theme. Not all songs share a particular word, but there is an obvious common theme. I think this round should be a bit easier. Happy guessing.

#3) Don't Come Around Here No More - Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers

I have no idea about number 4, but I can only assume that is is either about a Tom or Tom is in the group name. (All 3 of the above songs are great songs BTW)
