I don't understand the clues at all. What do the numbers mean? Do you mean something like this?
1. - ----- ---- ------- by -------- ----
2. ------ ------ by ----- --- --- -----
3. ---- ------ by --- -----
If so, I think this is an easier visual. I guess I'm just a visual person, though.
