There are soo many. I would say mine is the introduction of Dr. No in 1962. He was so weird and dangerous. The first in the franchise.

Probably the crane sequence in Casino Royale. I remember my jaw dropping a bit when Mollaka jumped from crane to crane then to the top of the building. Either that or the scene when Bond comforts Vesper Lynd in the shower. You don't get too many scenes where Bond is genuinely comforting to a woman without quips or seduction. Casino Royale is full of great moments.

For me, Goldfinger torture scene 'you expect me to talk?' and i forget which movie, when he unzips the wet suit to reveal a tux!!

Although, Casino Royal had so many great, revisualised moments.

Warhammer - we were on the same level then.... at the exact same time!! weird!

So many indeed. I'll just go with a couple right now:

The introduction of James Bond in Dr No. Talk about thoroughly owning the role in a brutal stranglehold and never letting go. Connery was Bond. The coolest man in the whole joint. The men knew it, the chaffeur knew it, the woman knew it, the damn tobacco fueled air in the room knew it.

yeah I loved the Lotus driving into the sea with the girl in the pass seat going OMG and then it turning into the sub :awesome:.

Toss-up between the train fight in FRWL and the golf game in Goldfinger.

"Hello James."

"Alec?"

"Back from the dead. No longer just an anonymous star in the wall at MI6. What's the matter James? No glib remark? No pithy comeback?"

For me it's the golf game between bond and goldfinger. It showed how imperfect bond can be but so effortlessly charming and also what a big old baby goldfinger was. Plus the follow up scene with oddjob showing off his deadly skills was superb

Intro to Casino Royale. The first two kills. The birth of 007.
The end of Casino Royale. The birth of James Bond.

Bond jumping onto the train at the start of Skyfall and fixing his cuffs in style.
Bond calling in the cavalry in Skyfall with his little radio.

The intro to Spectre.

The dam bungie jump in Golden Eye

I love the OHMSS ski escape. Amazing music, well shot and ends with that SPECTRE goon who simply will not die. So it's thrilling and tense. The scene afterwards is ace, too. Bond pulling his collar up, sitting down at the ice rink and effectively waiting capture - only to be rescued by Tracy. Bond at his most human.

There was some really great stuff in O.H.M.S.S. and the director Peter Hunt was really brave in dispensing with the gadgets of previous films. I believe the only 'gadget' was the radioactive lint that was used for tracking - this was thrown in as a joke. It is just too bad that George Lazenby was a bit too young and green as an actor as I believe that he could have progressed in the role if given more chances. He was certainly a lot better than Roger Moore!

And imagine how Connery would have fared trying to play Sir Hilary Bray the genealogist. Yes, Lazenby was certainly adequate in this difficult film in which 007 falls in love and gets married. Cudos!

When Bond jumps off the mountain and opens the Union Jack parachute. I'm not patriotic but even 'l' swelled with pride ;)

Funniest Bond joke - Bond drives a man on a motorcycle into a truck full of chickens and the man plummets off a cliff to his death. Bond coolly looks over and says 'hmm, all those feathers and and he still can't fly. Ha ha! Classic. :woot:

I've decided to list my favorite moment from each film.

Dr. No - "You've had your six."
From Russia with Love - The Orient Express fight with Grant
Goldfinger - "No, Mr. Bond, I expect you to die!"
Thunderball - Punching out the widow/#6
You Only Live Twice - "Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Ernst Stavro Blofeld."
On Her Majesty's Secret Service - Tracy's death
Diamonds Are Forever - The elevator fight
Live and Let Die - The bayou boat chase. This is still the standard that I compare all other boat chases to.
The Man with the Golden Gun - The dinner scene right before the climatic duel
The Spy Who Loved Me - The Union Jack parachute jump
Moonraker - The airplane dive at the beginning
For Your Eyes Only - "You left this with Ferraro, I believe." *Kick*
Octopussy - "Fill her up please."
A View to a Kill - The Eiffel Tower jump
The Living Daylights - The fight against Necros while hanging out the back of an airplane
Licence to Kill - "Today is the first day of the rest of your life."
Goldeneye - Janus is revealed to be Alec Trevelyan and the following conversation
Tomorrow Never Dies - The motorbike chase through Saigon
The World is Not Enough - "I never miss."
Die Another Day - The hovercraft chase
Casino Royale - "The name's Bond. James Bond."
Quantum of Solace - Bond disrupts the meeting of Quantum at the opera
Skyfall - M's death
Spectre - The SPECTRE meeting in Italy

I am glad that I lost interest in the franchise for a period when Moore, Dalton, and Brosnan were 007 and especially glad that I missed:

. . . the clown sequence in the Moore film!

The most disappointing aspects for me were the submarine car and the gondola that comes onto the land in Roger Moore's films.

. . . and in You Only Live Twice when the television monitor shows the enemy's car being dumped into the ocean from a helicopter, and also the snatch of the Russian spacecraft also shown on a monitor. How did they get a camera into position to take these shots? I like the movie anyway.
