Naruto vs. DBZ

Which is the best anime?
I have had some complaints about this Thread so I plan to change the question...
WHich Anime is Best from the point that Naruto is at, and from the last DBZ episode(not GT)?

to be honest im going with naurto im such a big DBZ fan but naruto just seems to keep me clinging onto my seat so much more where dbz was exciting o god it was exciting like the trunks saga ok very short killed frieza welcomed goku back that was about it but it was very exciting to see a new saiyan and finding out how he was a saiyan, naruto on the other hand keep you in so much suspense without revealing next to nothing for instance Itachi wow that guy is some story i bet i mean the whole story behind why he did that do his clan i cant wait to find out one problem though is fight scenes go on for quite a while in some cases

I would have to agree with that statement Gohan, I feel the same way except for the fact that DBZ is still more loved by me then naruto, but for the fact of which is better i would give it to naruto

DBZ for me is slowly beeing pushed into the background ok its not and old anime but yes naruto is a new one and no not out with the old in with the new becuase i said dbz is and was amazing but i think maybe naruto might just be the next step up i think all anime now will start to get better not saying the like of DBZ is crap but maybe the likes of masashi kishimoto has read posts off fans like our selfs stating we thought DBZ or other anime got boring at certain points(filler mostly) and decided to try and improve

One Piece is a great anime I have been trying to get into it, my friend is like the Luffy master even wheres a straw hat lol
And WIng Gundam yes i never said or feel that it is the face of GUndam but it is my favorite series of gundam, as well Zero/Heero are in my top ten favorite fantasy characters..if that answers any questions

gundam wing is by far better than both...

if we are talking about fighting anime's than bleach owns them both as well..

however db is kinda like the original and potentially could be considered the best...

if not for rock lee who pwns all those lil cry baby dragonball z characters. Also the way everyone has their own unique technique and how the main character isn't isolated and involved in all the fights is also impressive.

naruto for me, although at around the same number of eps in dragonball z, it was probably more interesting.

Give Bleach awhile. After the Soul Society arc it gets stale and the battles are less unique.

You know what's silly is how Batmansince1939 did not ask for which point in time each series' characters were suppose to be at. If we to compare the most current of each series (i.e. the Buu saga levels of the characters for DBZ, and the current 'Part II' levels of the Naruto characters) then it would surely be in the favor of the DBZ characters, but I don't believe we're talking about that, are we? We are talking of which has the better storytelling, correct?

I find, sometimes, that Kishimoto's cast is so large that he poorly manages it and while the same can be said for Toriyama, at least by the latter years of the eleven year saga of Dragonball, Toriyama had found his the characters he was determined to focus on, and left characters likes Tenshinhand, Kuririn, and Yamcha behind. Toriyama focused on Gohan, Goten, Trunks, Piccolo, Mr. Satan, Buu, Kaiô-Shin, and Gokū (although decreasingly), while Kishimoto seemingly tries to focus on two of his characters (Naruto and Sasuke) 98% of the time and the other two percent to all of the other characters. It just feels like poor management.

After careful consideration, I'm going to have to say Full Metal Alchemist as well.

BTW Gundam Wing is not the face of Gundam overall (Amuro and Char from the original still are...the birth of anime) but in the states....it kind of is. It was the first exposure to Gundam over here in the mainstream and also the first taste of serious anime that wasn't a fighter except for Outlaw Star.

It happens to be my favorite Gundam but I also love MS 08th, War in the Pocket, the original, Zeta, Counterattack, etc.

Thats nothing. Compared to the twenty something characters that get their screen time neglected in Bleach, Naruto looks like it did managing perfectly. Even though I have no problems so far with how Kishimoto is managing his characters. And I never had any complaints against DBZ. Yamcha, Krillin, ect. became a supporting cast. Think of Spider-man and the daily bugle.

just to say man i just wanted a opinion from everyone which series they like best, so far I understand Naruto isn't over yet and if it makes you feel better put that in your opinion but that is all i wanted
