Oof... the kids didn't even have their own thread yet? Now I really feel the need to repeat what I said in the main thread.

As far as the kids go I think Lauren (as Mantra) could be interesting if they want to explore sorcery and magic in the future. For all intends and purposes she could end up being the Gwen Tennyson of the series. Not saying that they'll do that, but that could be an option. Now if we go with the assumption that Andy gets the powerset from Alpha they could really change it up over time, keep their powers fresh as it were. So essentially I think both of those are actually really smart choices.

I genuinly believe they could do some really interesting stuff with these kids over time.

Percy has some pretty intense scenes of course. I like Natalie becoming his mentor. I'm curious when she got her abilities and how he was able to control them. These kids are interesting.

Out of the 2 kids she was definitely the better actor.

Natalie's an "old pro" by now, really. She's been on TV for a decade and had good-sized roles on both The Goldbergs and Gotham. She's pretty good, and pretty... eh, pretty.

I actually think the kid playing the son is rather decent too. He's got a cliché "angry dark side mutant in training" role but he sells that well.

Natalie's a good actress; not great (her talk about dolphin with Bruce in Gotham makes me cringe), but she always does the job decently. I watched the first 2 episodes purely because of her and I'm glad that she gets a sizable role in a decent show.

I'm happy too. Natalie was a selling point for me. Then I found out "Vampire Bill" and "Winnifred" were in it and signed up.

Percy is doing great. I like his smart ass teen boy dialogue. Good chemistry with his sister too.

Andy is clearly going towards an extremist arc. I hope he gets recruited by the brother hood (or whatever tv equivalent there allowed to use. Acolytes maybe?)

I want to see the kid go full Apex predator.

It'll be cool to see him and his sister turn into Hounds, which is what the show is setting up. Some good conflict there!
