NBC Cancels Heroes

I cant even choose a best season for LOST, they're all special and important in their own way. The first season of Heroes was special and important in the way that it was the only good one in the whole series.

It's interesting to me to compare LOST and Heroes. When Heroes first premiered it was at a time when LOST was probably at its lowest, so many people thought it was better. Understandably so, since the first season was very good. Many people were quick to doubt LOST, but since then the two show have gone in opposite trajectories. Now one is being unceremoniously canceled while the other is about to have one of the biggest series finales in history.

It's also ironic to compare it to 24, since they were timeslot rivals. Heroes came out during Season 6 of 24, easily the weakest to date. Many people came to the conclusion that Heroes had just killed the much longer running show. When 24 came back after a year off, they annihilated Heroes. Even now in what turned out to be the final season for both shows, 24 was more than doubling up on their ratings.

watching Lost together in one week will be 100 times better then watching the show over the years.

i bet you will even like the filler episodes because you wont have to whait for weeks until the next ep.

if only i would find Lost after it was over.

Well I'm not surprised they canceled it. I stuck with it, even though I was very critical of the of the direction it was going. Hope they get the chance to resolve the story in a movie. It's really sad, because the show had sooo much potential if it had been written better.

Oh. I get it. Today is opposite day. So when we say that Heroes is good and deserves more seasons... we really mean that it was so god awful that we should launch the crew behind it into space without oxygen so that we can never let them make another television show again.

I didnt mind Claire's power at all, it was just "her" plot that killed the show. Then sylar's " I'm good,no wait I'm evil" didnt sit well!

He got out when he could. So he doesn't count as crew... no matter how much NBC tried to bull crap that he was still working on it.

Even though this shows writing quality sucked after season 1, season 4 was a VAST improvement and a step in the right direction at least. Its a shame we will never get to see any resolution whatsoever. I mean seriously this show deserves better than this. This show at the very least deserves a chance to wrap **** the **** up!! I mean I was one of the people that even though it wasnt as good as it was, still watched and hoped it would get better and now that its actuall cancelled it just saddens me immensely cuz I seriously think that almost any one of us here on these forums if given the oppurtunity could've written all of these characters better and more interesting than the **** we got for the last 3 years. RIP Heroes. You couldve been great but you were in the hands of cowards

I haven't watched this show since the first season. I tried to watch the 2nd one but just couldn't get into it. To much time had passed between the 1st and 2nd seasons and I just didn't care anymore.

I'm actually kind of surprised how many people thought Season 4 was an improvement. It was the same ridiculous crap and the one that finally made me quit this cluster**** of a show. Good riddance.

Heh, I love seeing the LOST/Heroes comparison.

LOST never did bad, ratings wise. Heroes just flat out sucked from Season 2 on. LOST is ending because it was meant to.

Personally, I didn't think S4 was an improvement at all. The whole Carnival thing was a ridiculous gimmick, and once again there was little consistency in the writing.

It was indeed. They pretty much threw in lots of gimmicks, even if it didn't seem right for the character, anything to drum up interest.

im still pissed were not even getting a 2hr wrap up.... this news upsets me since ive invested time and money(dvds) into the show.... now i feel like i should just sell them... no pay off at all
