Fantasy NBC's Grimm

Agreed. They made a good course correction with her. I have to re-watch this last episode. I was a bit confused by El Cucucy (?) or however you spell it.

She looked like a little kid coloring a coloring book in one scene. lol I also enjoy her new role in the series.

Okay so I watched this again and I realize why I had to. I wanted to like it and thought I was missing something, but I wasn't missing anything. Meh...not my favorite. Next week doesn't look to be my cup of tea either. They need to bring mom back asap.

I liked this weeks ep, the Council now officially interested in Nick and Renard on a solo mission in Austria, plus I loved Nick and Juliette adding a new entry to the Grimm files! :D

Two episode fall final, doesn't look like they are connected though, the second one featuring Santa Claws looks like a scary one for the season!

Santa Claws sounding like Nolan's Bane. lol

I loved seeing this and have been waiting for Nick to add to the book also sans Juliette. I didn't mind Juliette contributing but I am glad Nick was the one making the entry.

The ep before featured Killer Croc!

I wish they would do more with Woo like they did in S1, where he was eating all that weird stuff. Him showing up to every crime scene just to make some plot points for the audience is getting rather generic.

Hmmm...finally got caught up on this. I was expecting a big finale for mid season, but I guess that really wasn't mid season??? Not sure, but these last three episodes were very filler. Nothing really is happening except the Renard storyline and I'm hoping he hooks up with Mama Grimm at some point.

Meh...I'm hoping the storylines start to tie to together soon. I want to get back to the key that Nick has. It seems all kind of folks were looking for it and now everyone has forgot.

They did advance in a few things. Mostly though it was background or secondary characters getting fleshed out. We know a little more about the bigger picture not related to Nick but Nick himself is stalled while their focus is on Renard and the royals, Adalind and her baby/return of her powers, the different possible outcomes with hybrid(?) Wesen, new Wesen races(? breeds?) and so on.

I think the story with Renard is going to tie into the key in a big way. Maybe with the talk of the hybrid child (the "possession" story) we'll be seeing something come of that with Adalind.

That may be so but I think they are part of the bigger pay off in the end. Everything will come together in some big season ending finale that leaves everyone dying to know what happens next.

At least the writers openly apologize when they do that though. :oldrazz:

Hmmm...it's a lot more slow going this season then last one. They had a lot of little stories that tied into the larger plot but kept everything moving at a nice even pace.

I'm sure they will tie it in eventually, but they need to hurry it up. The four episode have been boring and boring.

In the gator episode & a lot of others before it. I see no reason why Nick can't be storming in armed to the teeth. Majority of the cases look like it can dealt with a shotgun blast. If not kill them, it'll stunned them long enough for him to prep the specific grimm weapon to go in for the kill shot.

The episodes are alright but I'm far more interested in Renard's story at the moment. Hopefully they get back to the bigger issue when they return from the hiatus. From the preview, either Juliet and Nick stepped up her training or there's more to her. I remember the episode she shot dead center at the firing range when Nick took her. hmm.. grimm?

I still would like more clarification on the royals; Are they wesen? Are the human? If they're human why do they seem to be feared by the wesens?

And i completely forgot about Nick's key.

I like the pace of the show, it's slowly showing that Nick is changing into something different while also giving us some interesting cases.

I'm certain they are Wesen but not like any we've seen, maybe.

This whole Nick is turning into something is kind of weird. I'm not really sure I like it because...well...what is it? Why should I care? They touch on it sometimes, but it's not really touched on enough or made very dramatic for me to care there is something going on with him. I'm also not sure what exactly the change is doing to him. Is it making him more vicious? Stronger? It seems to be all of the above, but uhh...isn't he a Grimm? Shouldn't he already be those things?

I agree with some of your complaints Charl Huntress. Since the season premier Nick hasn't been much of a Grimm. He is still clinging onto being a cop and "normal". I think that is a good goal but being a Grimm should be an ever more intrusive part of his "normal" life.

I don't want to see just glimpses of his superhuman abilities. Those abilities need to be evident in every episode which has developmental impact on Nick as a Grimm, and a cop.

This is what I want as well. I like the idea of him being a cop and now Renard is involved it makes concealing his Grimm activities easier, but I think it may be a little too easy at this point.

Something about these last episodes is a bit off...and unfortunately I feel like things are bit crowded now that everyone is in on the secret. Someone has to die soon...lol...I just hope it isn't Hank. I'm hoping for Rosalee because I want to see Munro flip out.

When you guys say you want to see him being more of a Grimm does that mean you want to see him hunt down and kill Wesen he thinks are bad? I think it would turn a lot of people of the show if Nick turned into the Punisher and started killing all the Wesen he considers evil.

As for the change Nick is going through it does seem like it is amping up is Grimm abilities above what Grimms can normally do (not that we've seen much of what Grimm's other than Nick can do). The change seems to be both physical and mental, with Nick becoming more and more comfortable with killing the Wesen, he even seemed to enjoy it when he took down the gator brothers.

I think it's more what Siby is saying. I'd like to see more impact on his regular life because he's a Grimm. Everything seems a little too copacetic for my taste, which doesn't raise the stakes enough IMO.

That zombification from Samedi accelerated or altered something in him, obviously. Whatever it's doing to him has been gradual and I agree it's been too slow with them teasing it out. The writers have a plan (I hope) though and whatever their intention is I'm going to assume this slow pace is for a good reason.

My problem with whatever is happening to him is it's not consistent, and except for the color change I'm not even sure when it is happening.

I enjoyed the Santa Claws ep, definitely a different spin on a festive theme! :D Juliette in the Santa hat. :hrt:

Speaking of Juliette, it looks like she is going all ass kicker when the show returns.
