NBC's "Life"

missed that part I guess. I dunno, it'd be a little corny.

When he got in the car with his ex-wife. He showed her a picture of Rachel, & that is when she told him that info.

His partner fits the typical hollywood profile. She used to be hooked on Cocaine, she seems to not want to get emotionaly connected, thus sleeping with strangers.

I doubt it. Why would they pair her up with him, then? That would be way too risky.

It's been 12 years. Since she changed her name. I doubt anyone recognises here, or knows who she is.

Ten bucks says that His partner. Is the little girl that may have witnessed the crime he went to jail for.

Doubt it. From the way her bedroom looks. I'd say she was an elementary school age kid. 12 years later the oldest I see her being is 20. No way you make detective at that age.

but 12+12=24 it could be plausible that she could make detective by then. I don't know it was just a thought.

I just discovered this show. I love it. While the premise is good but underused, and the whole cop drama has been done to death, Damian Lewis character is amazing to watch. Charlie Crews just became my new best friend. His constant questioning, his Zen Buddhist mentality, and his love of fruit are all very symbolic. This character is a brilliant. The show is average at best though. Without Crews, I'd never watch the show.

My fear is this show will be axed soon. Too many shows give us bloody bodies, scandals and glorified violence. This show does none of that. I'm not complaining, mind you. I just think the average American TV viewer will want more gore and less characterization i.e. CSI.

Anyone here watch the NBC show Crossing Jordan? It had an awesome first season. Then NBC reworked it to make it compete better with the CSI shows and dumbed it down into another lame cop drama. They ruined a good show.

Life will either be cancelled or be reformed into crap ala Crossing Jordan. In a perfect world, the show will remain the same.

The last episode debunked the theory of Crew's current partner being the little girl, Rachel. Apparently they (the girl's family) were close enough that the girl used to call him uncle. And from what Crew's was able to pull out on her medical records or whatever. She's scared speechless. That final scene where Crews looks over her drawings was creepy.

Now wtf is up with his attorney all of the sudden. In the beginning you get the feeling she wants to ride his Dick Winters :o Then next she's being somewhat of a hard *****. Before finally ending it by telling him she's married. She may be in on this conspiracy. :ninja: Maybe serving as an observer of sorts. To keep tabs on him. I mean she obviously half assed it when Crews told her to pull those files on Rachel. Yah she unsealed it. But it's pretty much a blank page.

Huh, I that thought never once crossed my mind. Yeah, that final scene was awesome with the drawings. Adam Arkin's character needs to do something besides b**ch in every episode. Why would Charlie want to live with this guy?

What confused me with the lawyer was the guy she was representing? Who was he? Why did Charlie not want her to represent him? I thought I watched all the episodes, but maybe I didn't and I missed something:huh:

Until the reveal of Rachel. I am still going to maintain that Rachel is his partner. Her lack of speaking took place during her stay in th ward. She was also 12 when it happened. Which means that it could have been very tramatic for her. Which could cause some memory loss. & since it has been 12 there is no way Crews would even recognise her.

My only plot hole that I can see is. I don't see how the captain could pair those 2 up. Unless they don't even know. Considering the records have been tampered with. I wouldn't be surprised if her old identity barely exists.

Look I could be totally wrong on this. It just seems that the way stories are written. That we would have already meant Rachel, & Brooke Langton is way to old, but Sarah Shahi is young enough to pull it off.

Edit: Also another good episode. Crews wasn't as kooky, but still good.

Tonight's episode was VERY good.

Roman is an evil, evil man, and I hope he shows up again, to confound our protagonists.

Like I said in my first post in this thread, this isn't a shallow show at all. Now, we have a missing 18 million to look for? I have a feeling the old partner actually killed other officers for that money, and the "shootout" was exaggerated.

I missed last night's episode to go see my girlfriend's play. I am going to watch it on NBC.com at lunch

Dude was creepy. I thought he really did disappear when Crews & Reese went in to interrogate him. Instead it turned out he's just a snitch for the feds. :o

He'll come back into the series later on. The way he was talking. He seems to know a lot. Hell, he might even know who really killed the family Crews was accused of killing.

Yeah so I looked around, didn't see a thread for one of NBC's let alone current TV's most interesting and gripping shows. It's really great, and every episode only gets me to rethink what i believe happened. I figured those like me who love the show and want a place to talk about theories, ideas, etc could do it here.

So, chat away.

Just gettin my subscription to the thread for now.

I kind of thought it should have ended there. Leave the audience and Crews and Reese wondering exactly how he did escape. Did a cop on his payroll get him out? Did he just vanish out the window? I thought the explaination killed the mythos about the man. But still, a creepy character.

So after the last episode I'm left thinking, that Roman was referring to Dani. His old partner clearly had nothing to do with the missing money from bank since he was working the barricades that day a few blocks/miles away. And I hope it stays way. The guy has already been tossed around as a guy with bad intentions twice. With both ending with him actually being the good partner Crews remembered him as from back in the days. Another reason I think Roman was referring to Dani is because next week she's gets her picture pinned up on Crews' wall. If this isn't the reason for her picture being pinned up. Then I wonder wtf did Crews find on her to do such a thing.

The scenes with Ted were the highlight of the episode for me. Especially the scene where he's seeming through the book about him. :woot:

Thought it was a really good episode last night with the parllels between the vitcim and Charlie, plus the Jack Reese thing was awesome I thought, excellent way for us to meet him.
