The Kingmaker was another example of this show having some great villain concepts but not having enough time to fully develop and realize their potential. I still enjoyed the ep though.

Poor Liz, first Tom then Red, no wonder she has turned to Ressler. I thought the scene between Red and Liz at the end was great, the emotions on their faces was very convincing.

Next weeks ep does indeed looks brilliant, it's interesting that Red has another threat not directly linked to Alan Alda's Cabal. I can't wait to see how Liz twigs onto the pattern of the Blacklist and what it actually is.

Good episode, have to assume that Tom is also infected by the virus, as we never saw him get into a fight with the spider tatoo guy,perhaps Berlin tying up lose ends.

I still suspect that Lizzy's father is either Berlin or Berlin's employer (i.e. number one on the Blacklist) and the reason that Red needs her is because she is his leverage.

Red seems to genuinly care about her and Im not sure how Id feel about him using her that way. Itd make him just another lying manipulative bad guy. Tho I do think Lizzie is connected to Berlin in some way. Shes on the right path. Its all tied together and the FBI is just a pawn. I wonder if she'll end up running with Red or some **** and leave the FBI behind? That could give the show a fresh dynamic going into season 2.

Was anyone else getting a ''cult'' like vibe from every time someone mentioned Berlin, the way Tom mentioned Berlin''you don't choose him, he chooses you'' to the scientist guy ''He's coming'', as if they going out of their way to try and impress him.

Or the writers just wanted to make him seem more ominous in a very clichéd way.

Megan Boone has been great since Lizzy found out about Tom, I mean she was good all season but the challenges of where her character is now have brought the best out of her. Loved the part where she poisoned the Orange phone advert guy "That's how blackmail works sweetheart!"

It was a good set up ep for the finale that gave the Blacklist itself a bit more depth, had a neat central plot and really created an aura of dread around Berlin.

I mostly remember him from the Orange adverts,but he also had a small part in season 1 and 2 of Person of Interest.

It starts the season on Mondays, goes on hiatus in November then comes back Feb.1 after the Super Bowl then moves to Thursday on Feb.5 to help launch Allegiance.

Big Bang Theory, The Office, CSI, Survivor and Grey's Anatomy moved to Thursdays and did better there. Their competition isn't that strong, it should turn out to be a good move for the show.
