The big scene between Liz and Tom was excellent, both played it so well and it not only worked on an emotional level but left me intrigued as well. I thought the manner in which Tom bolted when he realized he was made was also neatly done.
Megan Boone has been so good since Liz found out, the way her emotion brims under the surface as she tries to remain professional, it's great to see a female character written this way instead of being a neurotic and overwrought mess or cold and closed off, Liz feels real.
I also loved Red's clever use of the Serbian extraction team.
Damn great episode, I really wanted to believe Tom at the end when he told Liz he is one of the good guys
I felt the same, and the fact Red didn't go rushing in when Tom escaped made it seem like he knew Tom wouldn't have harmed Liz.
When Tom told Liz that he felt sorry for her: COLD!!!
Obviously, he could still be playing her but Tom wasn't as bad/malicious as I thought he would be. I wonder what he could possibly have on Red that would have Liz raging like that. Maybe Red is not Liz' father and he's somewhat responsible for her real parents' death?
That line was so harsh, no wonder she cracked his thumb!

It was doubly cold as I actually thought he was going to reveal that he had actually fallen for her.
I think Red has potentially always ripe to go either way even if it would alter the shows structure if he were revealed as anout and out bad guy.
I get the feeling that the guy in the preview for the next episode is Liz's biological father.,as for the evidence that's in the locker I'm going to assume its a photo of Red suffocating Liz's adopted father during his visit to the hospital.
Good call as Tom was at the hospital at the time wasn't he?
