I love the show, but for what ever reason wasn't quite into this episode. Part of it was that I'm not sure what Parker's character's relationship with Red really is. I don't buy quite that she's the character as they stated, not to mention it would clash with some of the info we were given before, I think. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong. That's not to say I'm of the mind it was bad.
Stormare is an actor I think can go head to head with Spader in terms of both menace and off kilter quirkiness, though Berlin is obviously no where near as avuncular as Red is. Lennix's character is going to be one to watch carefully this season I think. A man with nothing to lose might make some interesting decisions that few see coming. Boone looks good and Liz is on a bit of a knife edge when it comes to her personal life. Waking up to the evidence she's collected May not be that healthy for her, I think, but she's right to be paranoid it seems. Also glad to see Malik's death and Ressler's trauma from last season aren't being forgotten. Missing from this episode was Alda and the cabal he's part of.
Spader still holds all your attention on screen, and it's great to have the show back in general. Here's hoping I find next week more engaging.
