Do you make Wolverine claws that are actually wearable in a person's hands? I can't remember if you've made those or not.

I have made one set from resin, I am having an additional set made from metal by a friend for my wolverine skeleton project

I have a mold from an old project that resembles the Factory X thor hammer but never completed it (I purchased the factoryx copy for my collection instead)

I started the fins for the begins gauntlets last night. They will have to be made from hardened resin though. Metal would be much to labor intensive. The gauntlet will also be smooth like the ones he wore as batman, not the sculpted gothing type he wore while training in the mountains. I am debating what looks better, a bulge in the forearm like a muscle (more movie accurate) or a smooth taper like a cone (cleaner for sure but alot less character) I am thinking the gauntlet will be a two part piece with either a visible leather strap around the top and bottom to hold it together or a hidden piece of velcro inside that makes it appear as if its actually one piece. Again, both options have pros and cons. I nearly finished a second set of DD nunchucks. This set was much more difficult as it not only functions as a working set of nunchucks the ends will lock together to form a halfstaff. The metal work is done I dont yet have the wood portion cut or stained I will post pics when that project is closer

I'm liking the hidden piece of velcro idea. It'b be a lot sleeker. But its totally up to you SK15. I trust your instincts.

The begins gauntlets are going to be fiberglass finished (resin) and I think the hidden velcro will make for the best finish

Like my other projects, I wont have an accurate estimate until I have completed a set of two and know what it took to complete. They are fairly simple construction, a three piece molded set so it shouldnt be too much.

After seeing your remarkable paint skills (like on that badass Mags helmet) I'd rather have you throwdown the paint then me screw them up.

is this a static prop or do you expect it to fold up in any fashion?

I was thinking static, but if you could make it fold up that would be cool too. Ideally I'd like it to be able to come off the base for cleaning (yeah right). Whatever's easiest for you is fine with me....I don't plan on throwing it at anyone.

I'd also like a prop made of his grapnel gun from "THE BATMAN", but right now I'm trying to model that in the same way I did this one.

Let me know price/time frame and we'll go from there. Thanks again.

Wow, I love The Batman, it's such a great show and their's suddel 'adult' jokes in some of the episodes, haha. I'd love to have that Batarang piece if it could fold up, that would be very cool

Yeah I'm a big fan of "The Batman" too. Although I prefer his weapons to be much more simple (matte black batarangs...etc) I do like the style they used for this show, and I think it works well in the setting they've placed it in. I wouldn't like to see Batman use these full time, but they are a nice, fresh approach to something that's been done a million times.

If king could make this and the Bat grapnel (I am still modeling) I would be a happy man.

It would be a fairly easy piece to do in plastic or resin either one. Cost is hard to say exactly until the piece is finished. i would estimate some where in the $55 range including a a stand.

That sounds perfect. There is no rush so if you don't have time then let me know when you do. I had someone else on another board attempt to do it, but what he basically did was cut the shape out of a thin piece of wood and paint it. I want this to be 3 dimensional, like something you could pick up and use....a little bit of weight to it...I don't need to explain it to you, you're a lot more professional than this other guy is.

Yeah, SK's work speaks for itself. Me personally I'd like a replica of the Batman Begins grapnel gun like how he made the movie Hellboy Samaratin pistol. But the gauntlets are definitely fine with me. No need to get greedy.

Yeah if King could make me the Batarang and Grapnel gun from "The Batman" I would definitely be interested in commissioning some more pieces from him. The work that I've seen on this page truly amazes me...this guy is no joke.
