Hey guys,

During my years at college I became the MASTER of organizing socials, whether it be the complete coordinator/emcee of talent contest, lip sync contest, or other collegiate-related social events....

When it came to my personal social life, I had even MORE fun of a time planning parties! My annual "White Trash Bru-Ha" was easily the most fun my friends and I had each year...

So now I've moved away to the city and started all over, but my fun side's still in tact! I'm throwing a Halloween Party for a bunch of my friends this friday evening at my girlfriend's house.

I've got lots of ideas, but i need TONS more!!!! Everybody pitch in and give me some cool thoughts on the party. Here is the order of importance:

1) GAMES
2) Decorations
3) Food
4) Music
5) And b/c of all the planning for the party, I still don't have a costume:(

I Appreciate Everyone's Thoughts! Even the sarcastic ones b/c I know there'll be plenty:)

I found a ton of handy stuff on some internet sites, but I was looking for some original creativity...

I guess I should know better than to ask a group of mostly 16yr olds:(

Blahndfold your Guests and give them a bowl of PEEled GrApes and tell them it's EYEBALLS!
*lightning*

It this going to be your first boy/girl party?

Maybe you might want to play spin the bottle or 7 minutes in Heaven?

Make sure you have lots of Funyuns and Mountain Dew.

Will Mother be there to supervise and hand out Rice Krispie Treat Snacks and tang?

Maybe your older brother will bring some wine coolers, that would be so cool.

I havn't had Tang in years...thanks Erzengel...looks like i need to make a trip to detroit tonight.

That would be a badass party right there.

Seriously though, I can't think of anything for you for your party. All the ones I go to are either hanging out watching movies and playing video games, or your standard beer pong/quarters college party.

As far as a costume goes, V is an easy costume and every store has the mask. Or you could fall back on the old standard and be an undead and/or psychotic killer version of [blank] (doctor, office worker, etc.).

Break into a morgue and borrow a few people.

Sounds like you're cutting it a bit close if the party's the day after tomorrow.

I'll tackle Music... though a lot of the Hallowe'en songs I know are ANCIENT!!!

The Monster Mash - Bobby "Boris" Picket and the Crypt Kickers
The Time Warp - Rocky Horror Picture Show Cast (and you may want the Rocky Horror Picture Show playing on a T.V. in a room somewhere in the house)
Dinner with Drac
Little Red Riding Hood - Sam the Sham and the Pharoahs
Ghost Busters - Ray Parker Jr. (again, you may want to show this film)
Who Are You? - The Guess Who (theme from CSI)
How Soon is Now? - The Smiths (theme from Charmed)
Purple People Eater - Sheb Wooley
Clap for the Wolfman

Gee, I don't know, maybe you should like, put up some spider webs? Or get some decorations? And make some cupcakes? And give some to me? And play some Halloween music?
:cwink: That'll be one heck of a party.

I stole some of the following suggestions from a website

GAMES:
Have a treasure hunt (you can confine it to one room or spread it through the house). Or a "mystery" hunt, you hand out cards with clues and some people get "victim" cards and one person gets the "murderer/thief" card. Then everyone has to try to figure out who the "murderer/thief" is. Musical chairs or charades with a Halloween theme. Random karaoke with a Hallowe'en them (only works if your guests are musically inclined)... you pick the song out of one hat and the singer out of the other hat. Or get into a Halloween mood with a Ouija board or tarot card readings.

FOOD:
Provide finger foods such as cheese and crackers, popcorn, pretzels, cocktail wieners or meatballs, veggies and dip, deviled eggs, finger sandwiches or mini-quiches. Food coloring can be used to make the meats look bloody, the veggies and other food look disgusting... if you're that up to eating strange looking food.

DRINKS:
Offer drinks such as "Nuclear Waste," made with one shot blue curacao mixed with orange juice and vodka. Or, mix your favorite alcoholic punch and add an eerie cast to the brew with food coloring.

Okay, here's really all you need, and it's right in line with your Halloween theme. Are you ready? Three words; Gloryhole Of Gore!!!!!

Have fun!
