Neil Armstrong has passed away... :(

    First Man on the Moon has departed us. At least he may have died knowing he is one of the most important men in history and will hopefully not be forgotten for a very long time.

    He should have at least been able to see someone else follow in his footsteps in the modern age, but we haven't gone back yet. RIP.

    He inspired a lot of people that felt their aspirations were impossible. You never ever thought before that date that a human could actually set foot on another surface other than Earth, and there we were.

    True that. I work with the space industry, not necessarily the United States, but nevertheless, Armstrong's feat catapulted numerous advances in electronics, medicine, architecture...... the list can go on forever. I have a very good job because of him, and I am thankful for that. RIP Neil, you won't be forgotten.
