Not sure if a thread for this exists but I couldn’t find any. I didn’t like the trailer too much but I do like the cast. Salazar especially looks great :hrt:.

Halfway through and having a great time with this. Lots of touches of Mulholland Dr and Cronenberg (my goodness, you will know what I mean by Cronenberg in episode 4) but it is neither as cerebral as Cronenberg nor as oneiric as Lynch. Instead, it's an entertaining and often gross supernatural dark comedy with strong direction and two fantastic performances from Rosa Salazar and Catherine Keener.

Honestly, Salazar should be a big star. She is so, so good in this.

This show was a great surprise and like the best mix of both Cronenberg and Lynch. I'm not even a big David Lynch fan either, but I loved how atmoespheric, creepy and weird this was throughout.

Rosa Salazar definitely deserves to be a much bigger name than she is and kudos to Catherine Keener and Eric Lange for putting in equally fantastic work as well.

Just finished this, and liked it pretty much all the way through. It actually did a much better job of weaving its story threads together all the way through to the end than I was expecting it to. The humor and tone and even the mythology and involved plotting of it all ended up working for me.

My biggest criticism of the ending is that it absolutely feels a lot more like a S1 ending than a limited series ending. Not sure if the creatives fell too in love with their project and just felt like they had to leave a window open for more or if this is actually the complete ending that they wanted for the story. I like open-ended resolutions sometimes but this is a whole other level of open-ended for something that is supposed to be the final conclusion. And maybe if it had been set up or executed a little differently it would feel more satisfying, but as it is it feels more like, "Okay, so where's the next episode?"

Well... I'm one episode left and, so far, it was quite the journey.

Throwing up kittens doesn't sound THAT bad. Now, having a huge V on your side... that's.... that's another thing.

Loved it, hated it.
