Superman Returns New Ad On Fox 8! Supes Saving The Plane

I really like this clip as well along with the X-3 clip, but the X-3 clip looked more grand in scope and larger... there was too much framing and close up on Brandon here and cutting off of the background sky around him, like the plane felt like it was just in a portion of made up sky instead of revealing the huge expanse of the sky through which it's flying.

X-3's danger room scene though with all the neat physical fire effects in the background, you can tell they're in this huge environment, running for their lives, youc oudl believe the space was massive. This SR clip while it had great visual effects, lacked that epic factor that the X-3 clip had

Yeah, I see what you mean. I can see how seeing Superman actually save the plane is much less epic than watching Logan get thrown into the dust and debri where he dismantles the sentinal... but we don't get to see it! Wow, your so right, thats so much more epic! And how about that reveal of the Sentinal at the beginning of the clip. You know, where all we see are the lights in his eyes and explosions. Damn I can't believe how epic the X3 clip was, where Collosus's effects looked about on par with the T 1000 from T2, the music was cliche and Halle Berry looked like she should hand back her oscar.

Soooooooooooooooooo true dude

no need to be rude and haughty in sethu's name about it... being a pashtu isn't going to help. all I was conjugating was a differeeentt form of an opeenion based on what I saw based on the premises of both clips. I like the Supes one i think a little more but not by how much everyone is overblowing it and knocking the X-men one... the X-men was just classic comic book type mystery action, TENSE MYSTERY action. Without seeing Wolverine, how he's taking out the Sentinel leaving it to the imagination it's a unique thing imo. And wasn't talking about those effects WHICH ARE UNFINISHED by the way and the clip was quickly edited... pointerum NOTED

yes the lines were cheesy, I even made fun of them and didn't like them but the BACKGROUND scope of it felt bigger... like a real true war zone, more intense is how i think it was with lots going on... the Supes felt more kinetic but not as intense or epic cuz of all the close up shots.

"leaving it to the imagination" is something movies with low budgets do...it's an excuse to why they didn't have enough time/money to film what they wanted to show. besides....you can make a scene "mysterious" without making it look cheesy. the scene of Logan taking down the Sentinel was just plain cheesy compared to anything from the previous X-films.

the X-Men clip felt like they were in a big, black room with 2 big lightbulbs near the ceiling :o yeah....that's very epic....

and in case you didn't see....there WERE a couple of shots where the airplane was shown from afar. but i guess you just ignored those and only payed attention to the close up shots of Supes...

I WANTED TO SEE JACK BLACK AND JIMMY FALON IN THAT CLIP IT LOOKED LIKE A REJECTED MTV MOVIE AWARD INTRO

I just keep watching it and watching it and watching it. That clip is awesome and even better with the original music, great job man.:supes:

In regards to the X-Men 3 Clip who says we do NOT see Wolverine on the Sentinel slashing it up ? This Clip was obviously Edited. I say wait & see what happens

Quick but sweet. I won´t bother checking back 20 pages of posts, so I´ll ask AGAIN: is the ending of the .avi file slightly cut?

No, what was seen was edited out of the full commercial, which you can see on BrandonRouth.com.

So could that Ong Bak guy defeat Superman do you think?

If he has Kryptonite Knuckle Dusters, he might leave a mark.

Who? Tony Jaa? HE could beat everybody... even Batman (and even if Batman had prep time ;) )

What in the world are you men talking about?

Tony Jaa vs Superman. But that's been settled. No amount of Muay thai or whatever else could take down the man of steel unless he had kryptonite knuckledusters. On the other hand, he'd win against an un-powered not-so-superman for sure.

Well... *_* I've finished it. This took waaaaay too long to make. Its 1am now.

I present the MRE (Mandatory Requiem Edit) that I made. Hope ya like it.
