Superman Returns New Ad On Fox 8! Supes Saving The Plane

I have watched it about a dozen times now. Great scene however the clip with him flying into the building is obviously from a different scene than that of him rescuing the plane.

The flying and Routh looks amazing! Totally hyped to see the trailer on Tuesday.

Nice. This might definately be the clip that will change a lot of peoples minds. I was trying to imagine the whole thing before the trailer or any clips were released, but I never expected it to look this good. Amazing.

Absolutely.
When he is flying over the traffic he hears something from behind and above, perhaps the plane. Before he hears is he seems to be "cruising" above traffic, which is at odds with the rush he seems to be in when crhing through the building.

By the way, I love that crashing through a wall, very pre-crisis, but they had better explain it as being a SERIOUS emergency, otherwise I don't see why Superman would have such disregard for personal property.

Yes! When the trailer is finally released its going to have so much to change the minds of everyone, either a change to like it or a change to dislike it even more. The wait was well worth it.

Tobey's been great as perker, but his spider-man is terrible. So I don't agree that his casting was anywhere near good. This routh guy looks ok as superman and has a great voice for it unlike soft-spoken tobey. How you cast someone with such a sugar fairy princess voice as the most talkative smartass superhero, I'll never know.

It´s all in the delivery to me, Tobey delivers well the - few, granted - wisecracks he has. I don´t think being soft-spoken is a problem for Spider-Man, he´s not your big macho superhero, he´s Peter Parker in a costume, and Peter is a geek, he´s not supposed to sound all baritone like Christian Bale or Hugh Jackman.

I've watched the clip like a dozen times now and let me tell you I REALLY LIKE IT, I really like how Brandon looks in action, I like the his expression on his face when he is flying and (it seems that) he hears the plane and slowly turns.

I also noticed (as some other ppl here) the the scene where he goes through the window and then brakes the wall must be from another scene where there must be a REAL emergency for him to do that. what do you guys think?

Yeah I know but he's not supposed to sound like a little boy either hence the "man" after spider. And what of his narration, that voice saying "i'm spider-man" was still peter parker. I can't tell the difference. I don't know what it is, but he doesn't fit spidey like chris fit supes.

That´s the point, he´s still Peter Parker when he´s Spider-Man. Superman pretends, Clark is a cover, Peter is who he really is.
