Yea im with you. I was really looking forward to Colonial Marines. Was really digging the squad based/survival horror vibe the game was giving off.

Yea, from what i heard the co-op was really going to rely on heavy teamwork. Like one player is going to be responsible for the motion detector, another will be the medic etc etc. So you would really have to rely on your teammates to give you a heads up if the motion detector starts going off. Im eager to hear more about that game.

Yeah, I think the game will be perfectly fine even though it seems to be relying on AvP's success. I feel like even though the 'Aliens vs Predator' title may be tainted and diluted thanks to the god-awful movies, it is still a very strong concept for gamers and will probably sell more than enough copies to be a success.

Interesting. In the first Marine video there's an Alien with a grid pattern on it's head, just like the Alien from the firt AvP movie. I wonder if that's just a playable skin or if all Aliens look like that that managed to escape the Predator's net.

Using the image intensifier while playing as the marine always helped me with fear. The motion tracker was never very effective and would scare the crap out of me whenever it beeped.

I never felt any fear while using the predator because the aliens would always stick out like a sore thumb on my vision mode. What's great about this game is not only can I lock onto aliens in other visions mode but, I can see them pretty well in the infra-red vision.

You might have already seen it in action in the gameplay vids. The focus mode highlights important things in the environment and also shows you places you can jump to.

Well, if the predator or alien grabs the marine he or she could use their gun to get loose from the hold. It would be cool if the marine could get to know the predator and alien more personally with the blow torch.

It sounds like a cool button but, I doubt it would be advantageous to give away your position if you're trying to stalk someone.

For singleplayer is supposedly use to scare away colonists and lure Marines. In multiplayer it'd be useless. Unless you want to taunt your opponents.

Those videos looked pretty good, an I'm always in favor of actually using teamwork for multiplayer. I'm definitely considering getting this when it comes out
