That had me HOOKED right from the start.. It's just incredible... The best Special effects ever created!!! No doubt about it.. Just thinking of how real that thing with supes catching that guy looks, and even more so, have to keep in mind that it's CG!! It's the best ever made!

Don't get me wrong, the clip kicked ass. But yeah, that's the first thing that popped in my head. But this is a comic book world, so people will do dumb things so heroes can save them.

Also, Superman appears to fly really high in the sky after leaving the Daily Planet, yet in the next shot he's flying relatively low over the ocean.

Not to mention people sometimes DO dumb things in life... If nobody drove drunk we wouldn´t have so many car accidents, for instance.

hmm, the only thing that bothered me was the part where he's flying over the ocean (right after he passes the buoy)...it totally looks like he's just hanging from wires. his posture is almost too rigid, ya know?

hmm, actually i think it's the way he has his feet positioned. i think it woulda looked more realistic if he had had his feet flexed instead of toes pointing down.

hmm, come to think of it yeah, it would even follow the aerodynamics by lessening drag.

although i've never hang glided before so i really cant tell if flexing your feet would make any difference

Kids, I have to tell you...that clip is amazing...the best one yet.


I like how Supes broke the sound barrier above the building. I agree that the physics have been really taken into account this time around.

Everything from the rush of air on the face to the movement of the body looks very fluid.
