at least supes kind of slowed down from his super speed to catch the guy...that's one error that i find funny in smallville; clark always pushes people out of the way of a bullet while he's moving at superspeed...but the problem with that is that since he's moving at superspeed when he pushes them, he'd blow a hole in them or something...

Yeah, he's going faster than the bullet. They'd be better off getting shot.

Anyone else notice that Superman put the guy down in front of a car. Sure, all of the cars were stopped, but I thought that was a bit funny. It's also 3:00am. That could be it too.

I still can't figure out where he is hiding them boots. they appear to be under his shoes, but again, he would have to be wearing clown shoes to hide those things with 2" soles.

The cape I can kind of undeerstand since he wears a sports jacket all the time. But take some NBA new nike basketball shoes (the ones with the 2 inch soles similar to the boot soles here:

Put them on, then take your shoes and put them on over them. Don't work. Now go to a shoe store and keep trying on shoes till you get a size where you can put those shoes into another pair of shoes and look at yourself in the mirror and you will see what I mean. Compound the fact that Routh is 6'4", and probably has big feet at that size. I don't even think they make a shoe big enough to hide that except for clown shoes. I know. "It is just a movie". I am just saying because in the elevator clip where he is changing, he clearly has them on under his shoes.

Jesus... do any of you guys throwing out these rigid questions like "wheres he hide his boots", does it even phase you that things like that REALLY need to be put under the mental file Suspension of Disbelief? Your watching a friggin Superman film, so that mental file should be pretty thick of "Questions not to ask in context".

oh there are ways... I said before that he probably wears special shoe covers, kinda like those things you wear at the hospital

. Only not as ugly. My best guess would be he wears shoe covers made from some neoprene type of material that stretches over the boots. Maybe someone who works in showbiz,( stage, film,) knows if something like this really exist.

Exactly. There's tons scientific law that these movies violate. You either accept them or you let them interfere with your enjoyment of the film.

Gravity is one of them. If you can believe a man can fly then believing his boots can fit inside of regular shoes should be no problem.

the part where superman flys past the buoy reminded me of "superman the movie" when Reeve is freed of the kryptonite necklace and breaks out of lexs apartment then flies around Metropolis for a bit before going after the rockets

I had the fortune to watch the press-only showing of the movie.

That iPod scene is cool, but it's slightly cut. There are more details that you´re only going to see on the movie itself.

And, oh yes, the movie is very good - and the sequel promises to be even better, with some hints that Singer and the screenwriters put there.

I won´t go into details, I think you had enough of spoilers.

Just one thing... I always find it funny when that happens in movies... I mean, if you fall from this bigass height and someone suddenly grabs you in the last minute... wouldn´t the impact kill you anyway?

In a world where flying visitors from outer space don´t walk among us dressed as mild-mannered reporters, yes, you would die even before reaching the ground.

Ipso facto, you´re already dead by the 7th floor, and when you hit the ground, you´re not even a human shape anymore, but a large bloody blot on the ground. You have to be literally SCRAPED off the floor.

But it's a Superman movie, so screw those details.

what if they change color at will? they turn black or brown depending on what Kal-El wills them to be?

but then again if he has shoes that can do that why not have his own suit do that so that he doesnt have to bring a change of clothes....

And I still can't figure out on earth can an alien look like a man, behave like one, talk like one, have sex like one, blah blah blah. If you can suspend your belief on one flying & having super powers, then you should do the same with wondering how he can hide his boots or costume, etc. But hey, it's typical of you to complain about anything when it come to your pure hatred of the suit. Just let it go, man. It been a year & you should move on instead of complaing about the suit & everything.

And how do I reinstall iTunes, guys? I got this when I try to load the video from iTunes part of course: "iTunes cannot run because some of its required files are missing. Please reinstall iTunes." The avi one isn't working. The audio does, but not the screen. It just silly arts thing on the screen instead.
