I think it's more of a creative decision coming from the filmmakers. The red eyes probably didn't look as good on film as they do in the comics. Maybe it had the wrong kind of effect. Maybe it made him look like a vampire. Maybe it made look creepy and the last thing you Lebeau to feel like is creepy!

I don't really give a damn about the eyes. Ain't no big thing to me. I understand that people are pissed but we have to stop blaming Fox for everything. How exactly coloring Gambit's eyes red would affect Fox's soul purpose to bring in as many money as possible?

LOL! These pictures are the first truly poor pieces of promotional material I have seen for this film. They are laughably bad. I’m optimistic about X-Men Origins: Wolverine, much more so than I was for The Last Stand, but give me a break. Put some freaking effort into your product, Fox.

uh, that's not news to me.

what I was doing is letting him know that in MY opinion the shots are BADASS and the idea of them being "laughably bad" simply couldn't compute in my head

i know people will always take a cool thing and tear it apart. that's human nature, specifically regarding something like this.

One would have thought someone from the production team may have provided them other hi-res pictures or just used the studio background. The Gambit one turned out much better than the rest though.

The image of Creed fighting Logan is the worst, I think. Note the form of Creed's body and posture. It looks unnatural, stretched, even, in some areas. He looks rather disproportional, come to think of it. Plus, what's up with the smoke, or clouds, or whatever it is that's covering Creed from the neck down and Logan from below his waste. I think that one is the most disappointing of the group.

I think that the problem with the Logan vs Sabretooth picture is the smoke, you can see the pattern of the brushes used to create it,that's a no no, it's making it look unnatural.

They should have left the pictures with their original backgrounds, like those promo pictures they take in a studio with a black or white background:

It would have been much better IMO
