That was a surprise. And the front end will form his chest.

yup true....Theweepeople said:I think this forum could become a complete mess like the X-Men: The Last Stand one did after the movie was released. For 2 and 1/2 months haters and lovers of the film insulted each other. This came after a year of X-Men fanboys viciously arguing over what was going to be in the film.

i left that place after seeing the movie......
i will def, do the same with TF.
why?..... because people will bich that its nothing like G1,and completely ignore that its a great movie
yup......im 100% sure the michael bay, steven spielberg and everyone else completely ignored anything to do with TF'snosebleed said:Because everyone knows that ignoring the source material is key in the success of a franchise...its moviemaking 101.

CFlash said:You're probably right. Not being a super-knowledgeable fan of X-Men, I dug all the movies- even III (though I wished it was longer).
However, after seeing this fan-made trailer of Transformers(http://www.jesterpictures.com/transformers/video/paramount/paramountintro01hi.wmv ),
(A must see in my opinion) I am completely reminded of what the X-Men guys must feel like (Wolv vs Pheonix instead of Cyclops). It's just wrong. Could it have killed Michael Bay to leave the Ark/Mountain 3 million years thing intact? The visually iconic elements of the characters? Resisted the urge to make what was a pokey little car, a hot-rod muscle car?
I'm all for "updating" the damn thing. But come-on!... it could have been done with a lot more respect and a let less typical hollywood dumbness and fluff (I'm talking about Bay's signature cliche's and stereotypes).
I mean seriously... for instance what was wrong with The Ark crashing millions of years ago thing? Wasn't that one of the coolest things? AS A KID... to look at that mountain or hill in the distance and think that a spaceship could be in it? Antartica? Come on now.
'nosebleed said:That IS a great teaser. When I first saw that it sent chills up my spine. THAT captured the spirit of the Transformers.

i liked the official one alot better......CFlash said:'
Man, I can't even describe how many magnitudes of goodness was that trailer over the stock Mars footage from the "teaser" released. It sent chills up my spine too. I was wide-eyed. Alas.

the fake one was just too campy.......
um....the music, the decepticon heads flying everywhere and the campy spaceship that resembles the ufo type drawings of a 5 year oldnosebleed said:how was it campy?

you cant seriously tell me that wasnt campy....
the real one felt.........more real and epic

yeah but you see..... it didnt do it in a campy way...like actually showing a ship crashlandCFlash said:I have no idea how you can say footage of Mars isn't "campy" and that was. Have you no idea how campy Mars is? Every heard of the 1950's and 60's. Shall we run down a list of every movie that "official" teaser could have been about?
The Ark. The mountain. Pure gold.
Only thing that I could envision making it better is if the teaser was longer... showed time pass by... and a town erupt around the mountain. THAT's Transformers.
