New Joe Fridays: Week 40

I have read it, and found nothing to ***** about, of course, I just looked at the pictures.

Oh Lord more universe shattering events. Can these be big 12 dollar one-shots?

You know, seriously, I want some Squadron Supreme like, now.

Wait, yeah, you're right, I mean I want some Supreme Power MAX with JMS and Gary Frank writing about Hyperion, Nighthawk, Blur, Zarda, Doc Spectrum and Amphibian and not those other losers.:cmad:

And bodies being flung wildly in a shopping mall and blood and guts being splattered everywhere. My god, what happened. :csad:

Q: Spidey616 03-18-2007 08:43 PM

I was wondering what Tony or S.H.I.E.L.D. are planning on doing with Cap's body. Can we expect a funeral for Cap, and if so, will it be featured in Cap's title or somewhere else? In the midst of this Registration Act, will there be some sort of cease fire for the New Avengers and those who didn't register to pay their last respects to Cap, or do they have to hide in the shadows and watch from a safe distance?

JQ: Spidey616, this sounds to me like you need to read Fallen Son: The Death of Captain America!

Yeah, Spidey616! It sounds to me like you need to buy something outside the main title of the character. But that's only if you want, you don't HAVE to. I'm sure you'll eventually find out in some second hand fashion somewhere else.:D:up:

I'll read this, but I pray it won't suck.

Joey Q said the book needed to reach out to a younger, dumber audience :(

Yeah, Joey Q for some reason thinls kids still buy comic books. I mean, everyone I know that buys Spider-Man Loves Mary Jane is like middle aged.

Yeah, I gotta say that speaking logically, the funeral for the character should take place, I don't know, in the character's own book, you know, the one where he got killed in. Crazy, I'm sorry.

Was it just me, or was Quesada's answer to the Ms Marvel question a complete dodge?

This was kind of a crappy Week for Joe Friday's. The only question that I thought was pretty solid was the question of whether or not we'll see Hobgoblin return in the pages of the regular universe but, in Quesada fashion, he brushes it off. Damnit.

This was the first Week I ever read through it's entirety and I can see why some people hate this guy, haha. He gives such bull**** answers, hahaha!
