New Look for Batman in Season Five?

Something is always changed a bit and there have been rumors that there will be yet another change. I'm hoping for longer bat ears and the classic bat-symbol on his chest (as in no yellow crap behind the Bat on his chest and make the bat bigger) What do you think?

Well I agree with you about the longer ears but not about the yellow oval. I like it , to change it into the big black bat, no thanks. What I call classic bat symbol is indeed the yellow oval.

Only change I want is a black and grey suit with no oval.
It worked perfectly with ARTIFACTS and I think it's time to change his costume.

i didn't see any costume changes from season 1 to 2 or from 2 to 3....

i think batman looks fine just the way he is...

The only thing that disturbs me to the point that I can't watch the show period is The Joker's Rastafarian look. I can deal with most of the other renditions of the characters (though a lot of them are also quite ****ty) just because I want a Batman animated series so bad since Timm's went off the air, but that Joker just pisses me off. And the shape of people's heads.

And yeah, good point, what the **** is up with the anime-ation of the characters? Since when is Bruce Wayne asian?

that's because it's drawn and created by the same people...

and also the same people who did the turtles...

I think the current look is great. It doesn't have that classic noir look of BTAS, but it's not exactly fair to put it up against that series. No other comic book cartoon has even remotely come close to BTAS' bar, including Timm's other series. That era of animation is gone, replaced by easily drawn figures.

And for the most part, the show is getting better. Last season had a few episodes that could be compared with some BTAS episodes. And I'm not talking about episodes like 'The Terrible Trio.'

I'd just like to say again (for the first time since before season 4) that I think Matsuda's designs blow Timm's out of the water. Timm's may have stuck to the originals, but that's the whole problem. There was hardly any creativity or originality in there. Just boring.
