I know, strange right? but after downloading and watching every episode of this show straight for my lovely home-made marathon (I know, I'm a terrible person.) I've noticed something i thought could bear some good discussion.

We've gotten terrific fight scenes for every villain thus far, as were all aware, but what I've picked up on is these terrific people have managed to throw in little moves to these characters that I've never even witnessed in other mediums before. Don't believe me? let's see...

Vulture: Addition of the sole-talons provided newfound techniques for our buzzard. Example: Tearing the roof off a limo, or carrying and intimidating a hostage mid-air.

Electro: Max dillons more prominent change allowed for new uses of his electrical powers. Example: Shooting a stream of electricity from his mouth.

The Shocker: Smaller and larger uses of the vibro-tech. Examples: One small shot used to activated a button, Having the suit make him resistant to physical force, Creating a force bubble to protect himself from falling debris (Though it was a failed attempt)

Sandman: More uses of his powers as well. Examples: Sand based tentacles, using his sand form to fling laying objects like steel beams, shifting bodily parts to different locations I.E. hands through his face.

Rhino: Having his powers be simple enough, they really just allowed us to see the full extent of it. Examples: Falling from the daily bugle building without harm internally or externally, easily crushing bowling balls by walking over them.

Tombstone: We have yet to seen much of tombstone, but he has portrayed power beyond just the simple increased strength and endurance (if he even has those abilities is still uncertain) Example: Spectacular agility and reflexes.

The Green Goblin: Our mysterious cackling foe has displayed great fighting prowess, and we witness more supreme feats than we've really gotten to see in the past. Examples: catching and re-directing electrical currents through tazers against tombstones men, back flipping over a building from his moving glider and landing onto it again.

Doctor Octopus: Otto really had spidey fighting for his life in "Reaction". The tentacles were both fitted with additions as well as used in new found ways. Examples: Spinning blade feature for the tentacle heads, Coiling two tentacles around each other into one twisted arm to grant a greater hit towards spider man.

Now, the only ones left out were the enforcers and the lizard. The enforcers were pretty much redone when it came to fighting, so examples warrant paragraphs, and the lizard didn't pull any new moves that i could pick up on, though I'm pretty sure we can all agree that he was done with incredible thought.

If anyone has any other examples, please feel free to state them. And maybe we can look into more techniques used in further episodes in this space as well. :)

Yeah, the new moves are great and to be honest, I think it's awesome to have new moves ofr the characters, especially because they are keeping and adding new things to each character.

Another move that surprised me was Ock using his arms to make big leaps from building to building.

I'd like to add though that while I enjoy a little variety in fight scenes, I hope they won't overuse these unusual moves. Some of them are perfectly fine, while others seem to redefine the character a little too drastically for my tastes. Take Sandman for example. In the comics his powers seem relatively simple, he can draw or shoot sand particles and dissolve or enlarge his body. Using sand tentacles seems too weird, quite unnatural (what's there to support the tentacles' weight when he extends them 30ft?) and heavily alter the way the character fights.

What I'm trying to say is, I enjoy seeing the characters use their powers in innovative ways (Sandman using his body to throw the grids or Ock coiling two arms for greater damage), but I dislike inventing new powers to make them seem "fresh" (sand tentacles and Ock's blades if overused - Ock's arms were always bludgeoning weapons, not cutting).

Speaking of Tombstone, I forgot where he got his strength and endurance from. Can anyone explain? And I love the fight scenes in this show. Reminds me of some the classics fights from the Justice League toon.

Each episode becomes more and more inventive. They really balance out the homages with the action. Love it.

How about in this past saturday's episode symboite spider-man water sking i dont ever remember seeing spidey do that in any comics i have read.

Yeah, the Symbiote defenitley increased his ability to do that.

I think a symbiote influenced Peter Parker should give Sally Avril a spinning heel kick for all the grief she's caused him.

He was locked into an airtight room with an experimental chemical.

I'd really like to see Peter just kick Flash's ass. There's been a couple times where he's held back his spider powers in confrontations with the jocks as to not give away his identity. I'd love to see the symbiote just mess with his head enough to let em have it.

Taking the backbone scene from TAS and blowing it out of the water.
