I AGREE WITH THIS STATEMENT, IF YOU LOOK CLOSELY AT THE EYE WHEN THE CAMERA IS FLASHING DURING THE ANIMATION, IT LOOKS LIKE A MAN HUNCHED OVER WITH BOTH HIS ARMS OUT STRETCHED INFRONT OF HIM HOLDING SOMETHING, A CAMERA PERHAPS. I BELIEVE IT IS EDDIE, BUT NOT AS VENOM, JUST AS A PHOTOGRAPHER FOR THE DAILY BUGLE.

It's funny how the camera goes straight to the eye when the animation starts.

There's something reflected in his eye, but it doesn't matter what it is because it can't be made out. It could very well be Raimi's ass for all we know. Fact of the matter is that if the "site image" was made so that the reflection would stand out a bit more (which I believe it was) it was done for the sole purpose of getting fan-boys to wet themselves and continue generating buzz about the film. Mission Accomplished methinks.
