You are joking ?

His face is painted and it is totally disproportional.

He has a boxers face.

I think this may be the weakest poster yet.

I like the US poster alot better.

i like this poster. strange isnt it? :D

hate the static look of it.. like he is just standing there with his arm up... No expression on his face... very poor IMO

what kind of expression you want to see on his face??? like he´s strugglin to fly... remember, flying is to superman, as walkins is for us...

Is that New Krypton taking over half of the Earth?

No, it's clooud base.

I really cant believe some of you rate this. SUPERSEBAS has done much better work than this rubbish.

Yeah, it's a funny little thing I like to call opinion. Lots of different ones usually and not everyone has to understand them. You should look into it.

;)

What does the us poster look like?

I was just thinking...

Why don't they take more risks in making these posters? I REALLY liked the V for Vendetta posters. They had a very graphic look, and didn't look overdone. Simple and sweet.

I'd like to see something like that. Instead of very detailed, hyper-realistic posters.

My 2 cents.

TBH, I thnk EMPIRE got done again, as they are hardly reputable, these days. Now way are WB that stupid to put out something so rubbish, on their biggest film of 2006.

They (EMPIRE) said a trailer was out months ago, when it was fan made from here. They are a bunch of Muppets.

I'd like to illustrate my point about the Vendetta posters.

Simple and elegant. Maybe this might not work for SR, but what I like about the above posters is that there is a theme. The first one doesn't follow the theme. It's just a "cool" poster, and for that reason I like it a bit less.

I don't really see much of a theme in the SR posters. They might look nice, but I think they're just surface-level.

I'm not saying they should look like paintings by Da Vinci, but I'd just like to see something more interesting than just plain eye-candy.

The V posters were nice, but they were all very propaganda-ish, which went hand in hand with the theme of the movie. I see what you're saying though. Less is more. but I think that if they did all of the posters in the same quality range as the US poster, than we'd have a line of totally awesome posters.

It was actually kinda strange with the Spider-Man 2 posters though...

Again, I felt they were "overdone", but I really liked the individual titles, "Destiny", "Choice", yaadi-yaadi-yaa... (some might've found them corny)

Those also helped in linking the posters together in some way.

But I felt the Alex Ross paintings in the titles were far better than any posters. Had he painted the posters as well, that would've been amazing.

Of course, it wouldn't have helped so much in marketing the film... but then I guess the masses like "cool" posters as opposed to something more natural.
