Hello guys,
I just rewatched APOCALYPSE... what a terrific and marvellous movie! Sure as hell one of the most epic and visually wonderful superhero movies ever filmed in history! It's also very touching and emotional.
By the way...
During the final battle (SPOILERS):
1- You can see Jean/Phoenix levitating on air, some moments before generating the "firebird" (her essence). While she is still levitating, you can see Apocalypse's force field surrounded by balls of fire... is that Jean's power, or just Apocalypse disintegrating the metal pieces Magneto is throwing at him?
2- At a certain point, Phoenix disintegrates Apocalypse's alien armour, the source of his force field (right?). When Beast frees Cyclops, and Cyclops finally fires his optical beams towards Apocalypse (who hasn't his force field anymore --- indeed Magneto had already impaled him), well you can see Apocalypse protecting himself from Cyclops' optical beams through the LARGE force field and then creating the SMALL VIOLET TELEPORTING FIELD inside the LARGER force field. How is that ever possible, since his alien armour was gone? I mean, how can he still create a LARGE FORCE FIELD again? I always assumed the force field was generated by his armour... that's how Magneto managed to impale him moments before.
3- How can Storm's electricity ever hit the Teleporting Field if there was the external Force Field????
4- Is it me or when Apocalypse was creating the Teleporting Field, you can see his image slightly "DISTORTED" behind the violet walls... ??? Or maybe his body was so broken and bent by the metal debris whom Magneto used to impale him, that he appeared this way?
I must say that when Storm's bolt hit the Teleporting Field, you can still see his image/face slightly distorted behind the violet field...
By "distorted" I mean like watching a figure beneath the water...
5- At the very end, when Psylocke escaped and chose to not join the X-Men... she turns her head towards them TWICE. Do you think she was in turmoil and still undecided about it, or she just hated them at that point?
Thank you so much, really.
