Someone in here is getting hot and heavy... This question still daunts me and I am glad I made this thread. I really really want to know if he will get another suit, if they will explain it, or if he will fight in the battle royale in his street clothes. Give us the new trailer now.

I am guessing he will fight Venom in 'new' red and blues from home. BUT I would be ok seeing him face down Venom in street clothes, much like the scene in Ultimate Spider-man, when he first lays eyes on Venom outside the school. Rain lashing down, both on the grass, Peter standing there in jeans and t-shirt, wearing a hoodie with the hood up to hide his face. Sorry this was the best pic i could find...

I like the idea, yes -- I do think it would be a shame not to see venom actually fight with spider-man though, it would look more iconic and memerable, but it wouldn't be a complete waste if we seen something like this.

Well we know that Venom and Harry will both know that Spider-Man is Parker. I don't think he would have any problem fighting them in his street clothes...although I don't want that. I also think it is easier to make CGI Spider-Man look more realistic that CGI Peter Parker. I just don't think he has multiple costumes as it hasn't hinted on it...ie the closet scene in SM2.

Well on one off the forums someone described the last fight whether it's real or not i don't know but he said something about him fighting venom in a hoody to conceal his face from Gwen...

well we will get that when he fights harry. but for the last fight with venom i want to see him in the spiderman suit( the suit is badass).

I want to see him fight Venom as Spider-Man as well...I think most of us do. But for him just to suddenly have a closet full of extra costumes without them explaining it is inconsistent...and these movies are known for their consistency...that is this movie franchise is probably the best superhero franchise out right now.

If he does get a new updated costume after the symbiote, then I wish for a bit bigger eyes and for them to be a bit sharper around the edges, that's it!... I practickly think that the spidey costume is flawless as it is!

I couldn't aggree more, they have nailed the spidey suit -- however, I do think in each film it gets better and better with the tone of colour they use.

I do think that he will deffo have a new suit after symbiote -- it's only speculation but here's why: In the comic con trailer we catch a glimps of Spidey hangin from something without his mask on, and I am hoping that it's a recreation of the TAS episode where Venom is dangling Spidey off the side of a building after de-masking him and JJJ is trying to get a shot of him with a camera. I only put this together after hearing about reports of JJJ trying to get a camera off someone at street level in one of the filming reports.

That, I also agree with! The tone of the collors in spidey 2 was awsome!... and I love that they made the spider on the back a bit bigger, also the one on the chest and giving it a silver shine.

the hues in SM2 are redder than SM1
if you notice the blues are darker because of this

that is to say, the actual film was tweaked, not necessarily the costume, this is shown in the actor's flesh tones from sm 1 to sm2

i think they will give us some news of the venom suit, the sketch of venom, or what looks to be, could be the venom in spidey3, but, its possible that the suit will be different, i hope we get some news about that.

Prehaps Peter has a spare suit, or he'll make a new one. As far as the symbiote leaving him, Pete will probarbly streak across New York avoiding various people in a hillarious scene where he will use trash can lids to hide his unmentionables.

hmm i dont think so actually, i mean think about it, i am willing to bet thats gonna be one of the biggest scenes in the movie. and i doubt theyd follow it up with some humor like that. could be wrong tho.. but im guessing straight up action.

I wouldnt mind seeing peter and Mj, after Peter gets rid of the symbiote, with Mj giving Peter a new suit she specially made for him begging him to get rid of the black one because "its changing him" and Peter saying he already did with some kind of make up seen showing them getting even closer; or something like that...
