New trailer with GRIDIRON GANG???

Sony Pictures newest film to be released is The Rock's Gridiron Gang, and with the news from James Franco that we should be expecting a new trailer soon, What do you guys think about it coming out on September 15?

I won't go see the Gridiron Gang so I will wait for it to release on the net. I still highly doubt we will get a trailer this soon. The teaser is a teaser and was released with a big film. New trailers don't start churning out until a few months before the films release. I still say the new trailer will be in conjunction with Casino Royale and/or the PS3.

Yeah, I really don't see the Spider-man 3 trailer coming with Gridiron Gang. Franco may have said its coming soon but Casino Royale is considered soon which is why I am going to agree with chaseter in saying that the trailer will be with that. That makes more sense too because a trailer like Spider-man 3 needs as much attention as possible and Casino Royale will definitely have a bigger crowd than Gridiron Gang.

Agreed. Casino Royale will be a much bigger film and the only big franchise pushing a film out this winter season so far. Potter isn't until next summer and Bond usually rules the Novemeber roost. The SM3 teaser came with SR...they will put the entire trailer with a big movie. Since Bond is with Sony, they will advertise the trailer to be with Bond to further hype both movies. I can also see preloaded or exclusive content for SM3 on the PS3 when it released mid November. An exclusive disc or something.

I believe and I have said for the last few months that it will be at the end of the summer, beginning of fall. Why?

well the movie will be the first movie of the movie going season. They are going to want a large number of people to see the theatrical trailer, and releasing it a few months beofre the movie is released would mean sticking it on a screen in front of empty seats. That would be pointless. They would want it shown in front a full theatre. Another teaser will be released within the next 6 weeks.

^Next six weeks eh...what big movie comes out within that time that will fill those empty seats for the masses to see a new Spider-Man trailer??? They have already released the teaser during the summer blockbuster season...and coincendentally is the highest downloaded trailer of the summer. Sony has done their job getting the word out early. The next trailer will be Nov-Dec. Full length trailers don't start coming out 8 months prior to a film's release.

YAY!!!!!!!! I'll have to pay $599 flippin' dollars to get my SM3 fix, fun

It seems too soon for a full length trailer to be out with GG. Plus, it's more of a niche movie than a blockbuster. I just have a gut feeling the Spidey trailer will be somewhere else.

For you guys expecting a new trailer for spidey "Soon", let me tell ya, it's WISHFUL THINKING!!! Teaser 2, IF there will indeed be a teaser 2, it wont come out until sometime this christmass, and that you can count on! What the heck are you guys expecting???... The movie is a MAJOR filmproject, much bigger then the first two films, and they've only just finished shooting it, not even. There's still REshoots of scenes and stuff... after that it's on with the visual effects, and they haven't really gotten to that point yet. At least not with something they'll ever show off at this point in time. The next teaser, if there'll be another, is December or something. Then the theatrical trailer will come out sometime late Febuary. The movie is FAR from finished, so take a deep breath and rellax.

Dude, damn straight! But it only has been like 11 months since he was in a movie, DOOM came out around October of last year, to me that wasn't exactly too long ago.

yea u know those bonus disks with game demos nd media that come with the ps1 nd ps2, well they should put one of those disks with the ps3 that has all sony's games to demo out and upcoming movie trailers. that would be prety sweet
