Tangled Web: 'Spider-Man 3' Re-Shoots Planned, James Franco Reveals

At this point its all speculation. The only for sure thing is that Harry will be back for some more action. I'm thinking that they are done with Venom and his stuff is ready for post production.

Harry isnt a Bad Guy. He's just out for revenge for peter for killinghis father.

Hey to all from a newbie!
I'm really glad to hear that Harry will (probably) get more screentime via these re-shoots. But as much as I like Harry, I don't get why there should be so much hostility from Harry to Peter on the death of Norman/Green Goblin. Once Harry found his father's stash of Goblin equipment at the end of SM2, he should have instantly gotten the connection between the Goblin and Norman. He personally had seen the Goblin attack the World Unity Fair and kill several people with a bomb. He barely missed being bombed himself! So, wouldn't he understand that if the Goblin (being a known killer) and Spider-man (being a known hero to the city) clashed, that Spider-man was the good guy? And that if he did kill the Goblin, that he had no other choice but to do so? The only thing that I can think of is that maybe Harry figures that Peter could have subdued the Goblin and not killed him, but that is an underestimation of the Goblin's power. I do fault Peter, though, in not going back to Harry's place at the end of SM2 to fully explain exactly what happened between himself and the Goblin. It bugs me that Peter was so totally concentrating on MJ's fate to the point that, even once she was saved, he didn't go back to tend to his friend's feelings of anger, confusion. etc.

Well, Peter is human, and he probably felt too guilty about killing Norman to face Harry, even as Spider-man.

Harry is a stubborn character who, despite a plea from Spider-man/Peter to understand what happened, could never comprehend that. The respect that Harry gradually felt for Norman grew through out Spider-man 1 and by the time Harry found out who Spider-man 1, 2 years of hatred had grown. Thats a very long time to hate someone and I'm sure with each day the hatred would grow even more. That's probably why he'll come to Peter's aid at the end of this one. He will have time to think about everything that has occured and about his father's past and realize that Spider-man is the good guy.

By the way Slmon, welcome to Superhero Hype boards!

yea, he's just a screwed up guy...i mean look at whats happened to him:

father never really showed him any attention

girl of his dreams left him for best friend

best friend killed his father (so he thinks)

and uhh other stuff that i'm too lazy to write...

point is your right GhostRider, he's not a bad guy, just a guy with alot of problems that mess him up in his thinking, and he's out for peter and nothing else.

why do I got a feeling this will now have a cliff hanger ending.... that this is what the reshoots are scretly about

no to mention he also feels insulted because his best friend watched him struggle through this knowing the truth all along.

yeah. the hard part for him is when he thinks his father is starting to show his love for him he gets killed. So yeah, he has plently of reasons to be screwed up...

And I wish Pete gets a heart to heart talk with Harry in this third movie. He should at least explain his side, especially after seeing him sporting a "Rocket Racer" look. I mean, what kind of ex-friend is he if he didn't at least try to keep the situation from getting worse...
And it would be kinda awkward because Harry's still getting in touch w/ MJ.

Or maybe there's a scene in S-M3 like this:
Peter: What's up with you, Harry? You don't answer my calls...
Harry: <punches Pete> Yeah? How's that for an answer?
:o

well now that harry knows that peters spider-man, i would think any more attempts to punch or slap peter, peter whould dodge it...i would think:

Peter: "Harry, why haven't you returned my calls. We really need to talk."
Harry: "Here's what i have to say, (goes to punch Peter)
Peter dodging the punch and grabbing Harry's arm and twisting it: "Thats enough of that s***!"

The vibe I get from the teaser is that once Peter goes all dark/pseudo-evil, MJ starts spending time with Harry, and Peter gets jealous/pissed off and attacks Harry with his dark-spidey-self... if that's the case, knowing Harry's past I wouldn't blame him for going after spidey.

I'm still remembering that "prostethics" comment from a while back regarding Franco... I wonder if Spidey scars him.

I hope these reshoots will be involve exteriors and i hope we get a glimpse of the GG2INO suit.

I don't think that's really necessary anymore, seeing as how Sam said he wouldn't become a true Goblin.

Oh did he say that? I that back the INO then.

Pete didn't kill gobby - he could have gone the new hope route and told harry that the goblin betrayed and murdered his father. LOL

In sm1 spiderman didnt kill GG. GG killed him self by trying to kill pete with his glider.

technically Sam said he would be "Somewhere in between Green Goblin and Hobgoblin, not the green goblin" WHich leave open alot of loopholes to tease fanboys and reclaim the love when the movie is out, or next trailer or something. Meh, i dunno, guess we will have to wait and see.
