i just watched it again and saw him, he looks more like x-men evolution version, not a guy that could take out the hulk

Don't understand why he isn't part of the x-men in the latest series.

this series looks to be loosely based on the current status quo of the X-men so I can see why Gambit isnt a part of it.

It was picked up by Nicktoons. No announcement for DVD's in the US has been made though.

Other than that there is nothing wrong, and that is what makes it worse, that it has the chance to be a really great show that rivals TAS in story and completely blows it away in animation but they just had to go the easy way out and make it about WOLVERINE and the x-men. I think that is why most people are so upset. An X-men series should be about the X-MEN! All of the X-Men equally! Not one overshadowing the others.

i have to say that i am becoming more and more stoked about this show...im not such a fan of the animation but i can get passed that. i totally geeked out when i saw polaris, wolvsbane, and dust...i hope they do al of the xmen justice in this show.

Why isn't Jean on the team? they better have an damn good explanation for her not being there. Does she die? does she just leave? are we going to get(SIGH. another) rehash of the phoenix saga at some point. Are we going to get an Cyke/Emma pairing? Lots of questions this trailer raises.

I was impressed though. Other than the fact that Wolverine is their leader(that was totally out of character for Xavier), it actually looks much better than Evolution and equal(at least in story elements) to the old Fox series.

The trailer pretty much shows why Jean isn't there.

They are at least going somewhere with this.

Once again, we got two shows where Jean was a primary character. This time it's Emma Frost. What is wrong with doing something different. The X-men always have a leader. In the past two series it was primarily Cyclops, this time its Wolverine. So . . . what? Big deal. They are making a Wolverine movie, and this pretty much bolsters it up.

I don't hate Wolverine. I'm actually looking forward for this show.

I do agree with the TWOP title for their WATXM forum. Wolverine always ends up being the center for all things X-Men whenever he is involved. X-Men are an esemble, not just one person.

The one thing that's going to hurt the show is that it's on Nicktoon's TV, and it's not basic cable.

No he's not. Suddenly all of you have already forgotten about X-men: The Animated Series. X-men Evolution. The Astonishing X-men comics.

I get that fans feel Wolverine was overplayed in the movies at the expense of other characters like Cyclops. But this series looks different in direction than what the movies did.

Also, did you not watch the trailer? This is clearly a huge ensemble show with a ton of characters some whom have never been animated before.

From the title it is easy to see Wolverine will be involved w/ 98% of every storyline. Just because they might have been drawn doesn't mean they're going to get any CHARACTERIZATION!

they have done it clearly. the beggining isn't casual, I think.

And about Scott, I he'll have a decent development, at least in the first episodes.
