Hey guys I am currently writing a script for for a new x-men trigology starting where X-3 ended.

So heres a summary

Picking up the pieces after X-Men 3:The Last Stand, our heroes find themselves in, yet another earth-saving mission. After taking down the remaining members of The Brotherhood, a tragic death of an old friend sends one X-Men to a fatal accident. A letter recieved by Storm causes her to panic, so Wolverine travells to Alakli Lake to meet the letter writer. Who he meets sends shock through the enitre team. A new enemy emerges known as Sinsiter, a mutant who believes an ancient mutant named Apocalypse is still alive, and if found will save the world. Storm's knowledge of these happenings makes her call an old teammate, whom has a history with Sinister. This old teammate calls himself Gambit. What he unveils involving the new enemy will change the X-Men forever. This is a story of betrayl,murder, mystery and enough action and drama to tickle everyone's fancy.

My main question is why is everyone so dependent on Alakli Lake. We've heard about the place in one movie then dealt with the place in two and the game and in three Cyckes went back there and we all know where that went. It just feels like a too dependent variable to me.

I understand what you mean , but the alkali lake doesn't have much to do with the plot, an area near alkali is a partial setting of this script. Once wolverine gets to this location(happens quickly) who he meets is the plot, and no this person is in no way connected to alkali lake.hope that answered your question.

only problem i have with the idea is the introduction of so many new characters. If by chance the story did get turned into a film, it might be a bit overwhelming having so many new core characters introduced.

im spider-man i understand what ur saying most of those characters have minor roles, it's not like a bunch of charactes fighting for screen time, its mostly the tops guys from the first 3 with the others minor, cameos, or builiding up for character for larger role in next movie, trust me it works, hope that answered your question, oh and to answer your question i misspelled rogue to rouge, sorry for the inconvinence

haha, I have five posts on these boards and the only post i made about a batman fan film was saying that the guy was talking all big and i have yet, to this date, to see any progress out of his project. And I didn't start by putting you down. I was simply pointing out something that was wrong with your idea. The most important thing about being anything in any type of art is to learn to accept criticism. And I wasn't even criticizing. okay Ill be honest....Im not on anyones side and I really dont want to be part of this argument but really Enite just said Psylocke died int the film...which she did, and that a lot of people are doing a sequel to X3.
I dont really find that offensive but thats just me.
