A casting call for Extras to participate in filming for the new Superman "Man of Steel" movie went out today.

Using the code-name of "Autumn Frost", the Casting Call states: Major studio Movie from Warner Bros. and the Director of "300".
The Casting Call for Extras calls for "Men, Women & Children/All Ages & Types", with all placements being paid positions. Filming will take place in the Chicagoland area this August & September. To be considered you need to be at the Chicago Academy for the Arts located at 1010 West Chicago Ave. Chicago, IL 60642 on Saturday, June 25 between 11 am - 4 pm.

I thought all Kryptonians are white.

Though I suppose they have the freedom to change that now since Krypton is no longer an Ice Planet.


Interesting is he's 6'4. Another noticeably taller cast member compared to Cavill at 6'1.


Connie is an amazing choice for Lara. It blows my mind she's approaching 50. Between her and Diane Lane, wow.

I would actually be cool with that. The Fleischer symbol is my personal favorite, and I like the Kingdom Come symbol as well.

You know, i don't think i would mind all that much if the inside of the shield was filled with black. One of my favorite manips of Cavill as supes has black filler.
