I'd be ok with Nielsen for Lara and Lennix would definitely be an alternative version of President Obama. It could be like a nod to Obama, who I believe is a fan himself.

anybody noticed that the logo on the supermanhomepage is the same logo that is on the Expo.......... i mean, it is the generic logo, i doubt it's the logo for the movie

if that is indeed a promo for the MOS movie, it is a bit interesting that they choose the red on black logo instead of yellow.

I just hope that doesn't mean they will use red on black for the logo/S shield in the movie...........can't replace the classic yellow.........

It looks like something my twelve year old niece could have come up with on photoshop.

Yeah, that happens to me sometimes as well. While we are on the subject of Superman, did you guys know that there is a NEW Superman movie coming out next year? I also heard that they are getting some supermodel British guy to play him. Oh and the guy that directed 300 got the directing gig. I know, I know it's hard to believe that a new movie is coming out. I'm pretty excited myself. Can't wait to see who they cast as Lois!

2 things i noticed about the promos...

1) TDKR promo has the typical Nolan Batman symbol. Nothing special, just the symbol with a glow behind it. this leads me to believe they haven't finalized TDKR logo yet (remember, the TDK logo was breaking apart).

2) the MOS promo doesn't have the title "Man of Steel" on it like TDKR promo does. this leads me to believe that they just slapped something together quickly for that particular event and that promo might not necessarily reflect what Snyder and Nolan want to do with the movie.


imo, those are 2 fairly generic promos put together just to get people to start talking but not necessarily to give us a taste of the actual production.

I even doubt that the movie logo is already finished or set...

And talking we are. I dont know...If I were the director or nolan, and someone slapped something together that could cause many to believe the \S/ would be red on black instead of red on yellow, i'd be pi$$ed, especially if it were wrong. I mean why use a red on black symbol when their are literally dozens of red on yellow ones to use.
My personal opinion is it was signed off on by someone in authority, nolan or snyder.

Why would they note Antje Traue as being part of the cast when WB has made no official announcement yet?
The whole "beacon of hope" description sounds too fanboyish and worn out.

I always liked how sophisticated the suit looks with the Red and Black emblem. I hope they go in that direction.

It may not be the fanboyish thing to say, but I'm looking at it from an unbiased general audience perspective.

The black, instead of yellow, on the suit looks cooler.

Oh yeah? Well I speak for the general audience as well. And they don't give a **** if Superman wears trunks or not.

I disagree. The SR suit was close to the classic version, yet that first released image got a lot of rolled eyes.. not from fanboys alone, but from the general audience as well.

The design is dated, including the trunks. It just looks too cheesy for audiences in today's day and age.

It looks especially cheesy for a film with Nolan's name stamped on it. I don't seriously believe the classic suit will be utilized.
