I was wondering the same thing when that supposed production schedule leaked eariler this year (and it's the same thing that is written as above.)

And yeah, Autumn Frost was known since around March:

Even if one of the Kents do die, i don't think either of them will die early on in the film like how S:TM did it, since the general impression that I got from the statements made about their characters for when Kevin and Diane got the roles was that they would play a significant role in Clark's life that we hadn't seen on film as of yet.

I really hope the Kents survive this movie, at least for a good chunk of it. This is where Clark comes for a timeout while helping on the farm. I also like the idea of coming back to the farm once in a while for the contrast, both visually and storywise. To take a breather like Clark.
I still hope to see them in peril somehow.
