News flash!

I like the idea of using a super cry.

What's a super-cry more specifically?

I just wondered about the context of the cry, but yeah, he's probably upset about... something rather than playing around.

Doctor: "Say "aaaah?"

According to Google Images it's something like this

But for real, I hope the cry has something to do with the tornado, as in maybe someone died in the tornado.

The crying could be a result out of young Clark feeling frustrated as to who, let alone what, he really is.

A Super-Cry? That's the cheesiest thing I have read in a long time.

Can't wait! :woot:

I bet Jonathan suffers a heart attack through the tornado :csad:
I see a scene reminiscent of Chris Reeve. Where Lois dies in the earthquake and he screams that causes the loud echo.

I'm tired of the heart attack death. If he must die I want to see a death due to injuries caused by the tornado

that would satisfy me...but I don't want him to die myself

No I totally get what you mean, if they're gonna do the traditional Pa Kent dies storyline, at least have a new spin (no pun intended) on it and kill him in a giant tornado.

go out a hero instead by a heart attack. Having Clark seeing his father die while risking his life to save others would spark something inside him to dedicate his life to helping others and I think that would be great

Tornado + fence post + Jonathon's face = death scene suitable for the new darker/edgier Superman movies.

official synopsis :)

"In the pantheon of superheroes, Superman is the most recognized and revered character of all time. Clark Kent/Kal-El (Cavill) is a young twentysomething journalist who feels alienated by powers beyond anyone's imagination. Transported to Earth years ago from Krypton, an advanced alien planet, Clark struggles with the ultimate question - Why am I here? Shaped by the values of his adoptive parents Martha (Lane) and Jonathan Kent (Costner), Clark soon discovers that having super abilities means making very difficult decisions. But when the world needs stability the most, it comes under attack. Will his abilities be used to maintain peace or ultimately used to divide and conquer? Clark must become the hero known as "Superman," not only to shine as the world's last beacon of hope but to protect the ones he loves."

We've seen that before. Like months and months ago.
I remember much of it, but was the earth under attack bit in there? I don't think it was. Could have been, I just think I would have remembered that plot point.

How about during the tornado, Jonathon is attacked by bears. No one would ever see that coming.
