Demo was released today on XBOX Live, PSN tomorrow. And I must say, I love all the new additions to the gameplay and presentation so far. The crowd reacts at the right moments, they're more into the game, they bang on the glass, and they actually spring from their seats right when the goal is scored rather than a few seconds after. And they throw hats on the ice when a hat trick is scored, which was missing in 09.
The gameplay seems more fluid and the new board battle feature is awesome. Definitely makes it more authentic and adds a whole new strategy to your gameplay. You can also start scrums after the whistle, which could lead to penalties or fights. Pretty awesome. I seriously can't wait for the release of this game. NHL games are pretty much the ony videogame I play year round.
